“Every time I do something I’m like, ‘This is it, I am going to get COVID,’” said Rachel McMullin, a 36-year-old swing dance instructor and performer who lives in Crown Heights.
She’s had a lot of close calls. Two weeks before Christmas, when the highly contagious Omicron variant took out entire holiday parties in New York City, she went to a jazz jam in the East Village, performed at a gathering with a few hundred circulating guests, and attended a drag show in an unventilated basement, all unmasked.
Recently she shared a joint with a friend who tested positive for the virus days later. She practiced dancing with another who got positive results hours after their rehearsal.

maybe they have and were just one of the peeps who show no sympotoms.
I moved in with my folks and cared for them when they had it.
I don’t even have antibodies.
"I'll tell you why.....Because I'm a dancer!"
“and attended a drag show”
Just a normal event in New York. She deserves some covid.
They probably had it and never knew. Me and a bunch of friends got it and one guy in the same room with all of us didn’t get anything.
I put 7k miles on my vehicle. Different temperature zones. No symptoms. Plenty of big rigs on the freeway so stuff is moving.
If I was covid I wouldn’t want to go near this woman either.
My wife has survived our entire family having the rona-me, daughter, two sons, son-in-law, and grandson and last month tested for covid antibodies and it came back negative. She’s been around us, slept in the bed with me when I had the rona, used the same bathroom. The only thing she does is wash her hands often.
She’s had it. She just didn’t realize she’s had it. That’s how this damn thing works.
Count me in on this, I’m wondering too.
Wife works at a nursing home where a couple of residents and 5-6 co-workers have had it but she never brought it home, until Omicron a few weeks ago. Now she’s going to have to get the jab.
It’s called natural immunity.
Before they started injecting people with an experimental drug, about 80% of us had it through contact with previous corona viruses, including the common cold.
Now, who knows.
Might be similar to a mutated gene known as delta 32 found in Black Death survivor descendants. In order to be immune both parents have to have the delta 32 gene.
Pretty much all just people who are not fat, sick, sedentary and/or immune compromised due to poor health habits. I don’t see anything remarkable in any of them.
Stoped reading there.
Stopped, rather…
I think some people are just immune to it.
.
People are invincible up until they die.
We see this over and over, it’s a human trait.
People were licking toilet seats - only to die three months later.
And there are inexhaustible anecdotes of people saying they found a pickle, plant, or mushroom that makes them live forever.
That was my Dad’s FAVORITE skit.
