Multiple sources connected to the iconic comedian and actor -- most famous for his starring role as Danny Tanner in 'Full House' -- tell us he passed away Sunday at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando.
The Sheriff's Department and the fire department responded to the hotel around 4 PM ET ... after hotel security had found Bob in his room. We're told he was pronounced dead on the scene, but the circumstances of his death are still unclear.
Although he took much of 2020 and 2021 off, thanks to covid, his before covid would have been spent much like he was planning to spend 2022.
It’s how comedians make their money. Unless they can sell out stadiums, like Jay Leno used to do, they are on the road for much of their lives.
Yep. Just buried a close colleague Friday. I realize my ‘stepping off’ point is closer.
I’m seeing some “River In Egypt” on this thread...
Before china virus he was still taping Fuller House. Since 2016.
Looks like he stayed pretty busy just with TV series and film...

Did you know him, personally??
If not, you have no clue what his schedule was. Stop hypothesizing.
I’m hypothesizing on what is known about how most entertainers tend to live.
Unless Bob Saget rises from the grave and tells us exactly what went down prior to his death, you are hypothesizing as well.
You’re welcome to follow your own advice
No, I am not hypothesizing...I’m going by his tweets/podcast posts, upcoming tour promotion dates calendar and his posted (and, provided) TV series and film schedule.
My point it is...just because you know so much about entertainers supposed schedules, doesn’t mean you know a thing about this guy’s.
That it, unless, you knew him personally. Did you?
Nobody here knows him personally, but they are all hypothesizing just the same.
Is it just me that has got your goad or are you contacting every Freeper in this thread and asking him to quit hypothesizing?
I thought you must’ve known him, personally, by the comments you made about his grueling “200/night/year” schedule. It was so exact.
Have a nice night ;-)
He said he got a booster in his butt. lol
I was speaking metaphorically, when I say 200 days/year, because that is the type of schedule lower level entertainers tend to keep. Maybe it was 195/year or 210/year if you calendared it out.
People who perform in smaller venues have to perform more often in order to make a living. If he could sell out stadiums, he’s only have to do one show/year in order to make a living. Comedy clubs are smaller venues, so you have to do more shows to make a living.
I think one of Gilbert’s podcast episodes was on that “subject”.....
I remember the “sermons” he would work so hard on were dull and anything but like a real preacher would deliver.
I counted 27 appearance dates from January through June 2022. I’m pretty sure he was on the road maybe 50-75 days a year. Many salespeople do the same and nobody bats an eye.
Those sales people get all the chores of famous people, but none of the recognition.
Prayers to his family...Rest In Peace, Bob.
Too funny. I'd change it so that it was every time a celebrity dies and swap out the sword for a Fender Telecaster.
