NASCAR has officially rejected Brandon Brown’s “Let’s Go Brandon” sponsorship deal.
According to multiple news reports, the auto-racing giant told Mr. Brown’s team that cryptocurrency firm LGBCoin cannot sponsor his car.
The company’s first three letters are an allusion to “Let’s Go, Brandon,” the coded form of a vulgar insult of President Biden.
Mr. Brown’s team publicly trumpeted on Thursday the news that LGBcoin - the self-styled “America’s Coin” - will be its full-season primary partner for the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series.
The company released a photo of Mr. Brown standing next to his #68 Chevrolet Camaro in a red-white-and-blue trim with “LGBcoin.io” in big blue letters.
But NASCAR quickly told the team to hold on, saying that more discussion was needed, before Tuesday officially saying “no.”
Mr. Brown became a household name outside the world of NASCAR fans when NBC interviewed Mr. Brown after he won his first race, at the Talladega Superspeedway on Oct. 2.

It appears that Brandon Brown needs a better understanding on how to “play pretend.” Apparently there is a rule book somewhere that he needs to read.

It is hard to believe the difference in the number fans in the stands over the past 5 years compared to 10-15 years ago. They appear to be hellbent on driving away even more fans. Any business that that alienates their customer base won’t last for long.
I recall hearing about Tony Stewart and a couple of others starting a new stock series awhile ago, maybe a couple of years. Haven’t really kept up so don’t know if that will happen. But it make you think that NASCAR pulling out of Eldora might have something to do with that.

And this was 100% manufactured by, I believe, NBC. They heard the vulgar insult, translated it into the completely acceptable Let's Go Brandon. And the world is now declaring this not acceptable at all. Because the king may never be insulted.
Yes, and since NBC and USA (no more NBCSN) are the cause of this, and air NASCAR at the mid point of the season, I hope they are forced to accept this.. what delicious irony!
NASCAR is circling the drain now mostly because they continually offend the few people that care about it. Those racetracks will be empty soon and only a few Bubba Wallace autographed nooses will be left.
If the guy who is supposedly insulted by the slogan “Let’s Go Brandon” doesn’t take it as an insult, is it really an insult? Even President Brandon agrees with the slogan.

How many cars sport “BLM”?
This type of thing happened with Formula One a couple of years ago when they decided they had to get rid of the Podium Girls. Gracious, very attractive, not underdressed, they made over $ 100,000 a year and were always a highlight of the trophy presentation. Now they lost their jobs bc some hags whom you wouldn’t want to see or hear in public complained it was “demeaning”. And the feminist movement which espoused that it was important for any woman to do what she wants in life, stood by silent.
Nascar use to be where you run the race and win great. End of year who ever won the most wins the championship.
Now they have these stoopid parts of a race where you get points for leading during the race and they stop for a rest and then get going again.
What happened to all out racing instead of this crap?
NARCAR immediately bends its knee to everything the Dems demand of them nowadays, it’s sad.

Anyway, so do most businesses, and with good reason. We could have used our buying power to patronize companies that didn't cave to the leftists, but we chose to live and let live. Meanwhile, the left was using their buying power to force companies to accept their agenda. Look at the businesses who folded over the past few years, and you'll see many who received poor scores from HRC.
Now, the companies that are left are fully on board with the leftist agenda, or at least act that way. I almost have to laugh at companies that talk about diversity and providing opportunities to various groups, then ship their jobs out of the country at the expense of the people they claim to be helping. But that's another issue.
It's so bizarre to me. The folks they're trying to appeal to, or are bending over backwards to please, have always viewed NASCAR as a backwoods, hillbilly sport. Most of them may not even be sports fans at all, but especially not NASCAR, and no amount of appeasement or marketing will ever change that viewpoint.
