Some comedian I heard once talked about when space aliens invade earth he hopes there will still be a bunch of macho, cis-gender, white guys around to fight them off. A hilarious bit. Only angry white men can really conquer civilizations.

I am trying to imagine what it would be like to have Kamala as your pilot. Her incessant babbling and nervous cackling would have the emergency exits popping and inflatable slides deploying with the flight crew elbowing to the head of the line. Do they yell “abandon ship!” on airplanes?

For a great lesson in the damage wrought by “diversity” and the importance of eliminating this nonsense from your organization when competence really matters, I always offer the following example from the NASA space shuttle program for consideration:

1. Look at the racial/ethnic/gender composition of the space shuttle crews for the two missions that ended in disaster.

2. Then go and look at the composition of the crews for the top priority missions that were scheduled after the long delays in the shuttle program in the aftermath of those disasters.

The lesson to be learned here is that diversity only works for sh!t that doesn’t matter.

Recall there was a “me too” issue also. Personally, I prefer comedians to be democrats. It’s fun to see everyone laughing at them.

“I wouldn’t put any funny man in front either.”

How about the front man for Iron Maiden?
Bruce Dickinson was flying commercial airliners in the 80’s while he was fronting Iron Maiden.
Imagine hearing your pilot introduce himself and realizing it was the frenetic mad man who had been hopping about a stage the night before!

Yes, he was entertaining. I listened to Prairie Home Companion all the time, but when he got more nastily political (it seemed to start when GWB became president), I changed the radio channel whenever he cranked up insults.

Anybody can fly a plane; it's the landing that's a real b!tch.

Years ago, I had a friend from work tell me that he had downloaded the profile for our plane and had been flying it on Microsoft Flight Simulator. I invited him to go flying with me and told him he could fly the plane from start to finish and I wasn't going to give him any assistance unless it looked like he was going to damage something.

He had never flown a plane before. We flew all over the place and landed at several different airports. He even knew the appropriate radio calls. I guess the flight simulator even helped with that. He did fine with no help from me. Of course, I took him up in our Piper Cherokee, one of the easiest airplanes in the world to fly. And I always considered him one of my most exceptional subordinates.

I generally approved of the article, except when he apologized for flying first class sometimes. He’s doing it because he lawfully earned the money/points and wants to. I do for the same reason and hate being treated like cattle. I also bought a 2018 Lincoln Navigator in 2018. When asked why, my answer is, “I liked it, could afford it, and I bought it.” Really squelches people who try to guilt me about it.

Flight sims are good for some things but the actual physical part is the real feel which you can’t get from a home sim; a full motion sim is the best for training but they’re not exactly accessible to most people.

“ We old Anglo guys have a bad habit of grabbing the check after lunch and I realize it’s a macho power move, dismissive, marginalizing, elitist, sexist, oppressive, colonialist, and a number of women have told me over the years, “You shouldn’t have done that,” but I notice, now that I’m old and slow and not so grabby, that they don’t reach for the check and it sits there in plain sight for several minutes before Anglo Man picks it up, when perhaps a woman says, “Won’t you let me contribute something?” and I say, “It’s my pleasure,” which they take to mean, No. End of story.”

This about sums up the hypocrisy of the Left. Perhaps Garrison is subconsciously red pilling himself.

FU Money. Great way to put it. That's what all of the aholes i.e. actors, sports personalities, politicians have, but only after groveling to everyone (it's the only time they are truly "inclusive") on the way up the success ladder. After that, it's FU and the conservative, American values horse you rode in on.

I prefer my pilot to be a Republican with military service, preferably at the rank of captain or higher, preferably as an aviator, not in the Quartermaster Corps.

I don't think there are very many airline pilots who were in the Quartermaster Corps. during their military careers.

But I prefer military pilots as well because of the extensive training. A civilian just can't afford to buy that much training.

And I prefer my pilots to know how to read and respond to the ADI and realize there is also stand-by ADIs and stand-by altimeters in case you lose confidence in the primary. I don't want JFK Juniors flying my plane.

“I don’t want anyone like me up front. No deep thinkers.”

That's supposed to be self-deprecating humor.

It's not funny, but leftist humor usually fails.

I never understood the “I'm a democrat” but...” BS

Because deep down they do not believe what they are promoting and do not believe that they will get it.

They are whinny children who want to play all day but never pay a bill.

They expect the grown-ups to always step up and take over when things go "ka-blooy!"

Got some news for them. Not going to do it.

Then the Gods of the Market tumbled, and their smooth-tounged wizards withdrew,
And the hearts of the meanest were humbled and began to believe it was true
That All is not Gold that Glitters, and Two and Two make Four---
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings limped up to explain it once more
