The scientist who combined two widely available over-the-counter compounds that inhibited the novel coronavirus by 99% in early tests told WND he's hopeful his treatment will be available "within months."
"An FDA-approved treatment could be in sight within months if pharmaceutical companies utilize existing clinical trial resources," said Dr. David Ostrov in an email interview with WND.
Ostrov, an immunologist and associate professor in the University of Florida College of Medicine’s department of pathology, immunology and laboratory medicine, combined diphenhydramine, which is marketed as Benadryl, and lactoferrin, a protein in milk, as WND reported in December.
"My prediction is that antiviral drug combinations, such as diphenhydramine and lactoferrin, will provide a similar level of benefit as Regeneron monoclonal antibodies, Pfizer and Merck antivirals, at less than 1/100 the cost of those therapies," he told WND.
Ostrov said he knew he was facing an uphill battle in his effort to find a combination of cheap, safe and available drugs to combat COVID-19…

Love colostrom from Sovereign Labs. Vanilla flavored powder. Drink every a.m. on empty stomach, wait 20 min to begin eating. Coats the stomach with powerful pro-biotics.
Oh, I didn’t know that. I think we’ll try it your way before we eat. Thank you!
Covid goes away when people turn off their tvs, radios and cellphones!
Wow. I can remember back when (and I’m carbon-dating myself here) you could only get Benadryl from your doctor, and it was used to treat bad hay fever, allergies, and reactions to bee stings. Now it costs pennies and is in every discount store. It’s also a good sleep aid. Makes me wonder when they’ll revert to calling it a CDS and regulate it again. But that and a glass of milk would go a good way to treat any respiratory effects from a bug.
99% effective treatment for Covid: don’t be fat.
“Take a Benedryl with a glass of milk and call me in the morning.”
I wonder if you could just drink milk for the lactoferrin part?
Drink your ovaltine.
When I called their lab, they recommended to take it that way.

Be careful what you type on this forum.
There are many of the ‘vaxxed cult’ that will be willing to fight you for saying that drugs like HCQ, Ivermectin/Horse paste, Z Packs, Doxycycline, Zinc, etc can help.
Any examples of people being helped using such drugs is merely a coincidence and anecdotal. They mean nothing other than all the people they’ve helped and saved. Especially the ones that were in comas, etc.
One needs to get a shot a week, still get covid, and be put on a ventilator and remdesivir……./sarc.
:)
Colostrum sounds like a great way to get lactoferrin
“Back in the ER”
“Back AT WORK in the ER”
That makes much more sense. Thank you.
Why not make it “warm milk - now with benadryl”?
I looked it up and cow’s milk contains 0.35 mg/ml lactoferrin.
A liter of milk contains 350 mg of lactoferrin.
That might work.
You’re right, but with forums such as this and others on the internet, info travels quick. It’ll get out there.
We’ll know when the MSM does a story on how ridiculous it is. That’s being over the target, isn’t it?
Sounds like a range of Lactoferrin somewhere between 100 mg. to one gram per day.
A pint of cow’s milk runs about 100 mg.
Camel milk has about five times more lactoferrin.
Human milk has a bit more than camel, about seven times that from cows.
The very first milk after birth (colostrum) has the most.
Commercial lactoferrin supplements seem to run from around 100-500 mg. per pill.
Apo-lactoferrin seems to be the preferred type, regardless of what type of milk it is sourced from (pretty much all commercial supplements are bovine).
There already is. How does Ginsburg last so long? Same for Carter.
Us serfs aren’t worthy of it.
i’m thinking bovine colostrum
Is it in pill form? Dairy products make me gag. Not allergic; just hate the taste and consistency.
