I have a clear recollection of having been in an Ames room as a child, it was at a university close to where I lived where I would assume they were doing some sort of study. It was very strange to my young mind. I don’t know how it came to pass that I was there, but I’m pretty sure my dad brought me there.
I never knew until now what the origin of that illusion was and that it actually had a name. Thanks for posting the video, it cleared up a lingering mystery for me!
