With M&M’s Mars leaving NASCAR many fans are wondering both “why?” and also “who’s next?” Over the last 10-15 years there have been many sponsors jumping ship from the sport as revenue and viewership have dipped lower and lower. So today I want to look more into this trend and see what is going on and why it may be worse or not as bad as many think it is. This is NASCAR’s mass sponsor exodus.

This could, to an extent explain why, from another FR post, Let's go Brandon Brown is having sponsorship problems. Economic realities have a lot to do with NASCAR's sponsorship woes, but surely they must be aware of the shrinking fan base caused by.... well ya know.... everything woke turns to 💩

NASCAR ceased to be on February 18th 2001.
After that it was all just garbage.

Plus you set up a system where someone can actually NEVER ACTUALLY WIN A SINGLE RACE, BUT BE THE CHAMPION... WTF is with that?

Then get into the fact you have spit in the face of your core demographic for the last few years, and wonder why they are going elsewhere?

1. Made racing the most complicated they possibly could almost to where you won if you lost.
2. Alienated their fan base and derided them.
3. Embraced wokism bs.

Was a long time NASCAR viewer, but stopped a number of years ago. Many reasons including getting rid of short tracks, getting rid of traditional tracks, adding generic 1.5 mile ovals that are boring and all the same, NASCAR wanting to get rid of its traditional fans and replace us with “more desirable” fans, drivers lost personality and became corporate. So, I moved on, glad i did, no interest in returning.
