Nostradamus was born in December 1503 in Southern France's Saint Rémy de Provence.
Michel de Nostradame, better known as only 'Nostradamus', was a French prophet, astrologer, and reputed seer who made thousands of predictions in his book Les Propheties over 465 years ago. A huge number of prophecies have come true to make him the most renowned clairvoyant in the history of the world.
As many of his predictions have been scarily accurate, people still closely observe and study the things he said in his lifetime.
Nostradamus was born in Saint Rémy de Provence, southern France, in December 1503.
His book Les Prophéties, which is a collection of 942 poetic quatrains, allegedly predicts future events. It was first published in the year 1555.
Although assessing the accuracy of the things written in the book is a tricky thing for even Nostradamus scholars and experts, he foretold some of the biggest events in world history.
The seer predicted the rise of Adolf Hitler, the Great Fire of London, the assassination of former US President John F Kennedy, and the terror attacks of 9/11, to name a few.
We're not just done yet because his predictions are said to reach the year 3797. This brings us to the obvious question – what predictions did he make for the year 2022?
Meteor strike The seer predicted that our plant will have to endure great damage in 2022 that will be caused by meteorites. He had written about 'a long trail of sparks' in the sky which is made of fire. This could also mean a giant asteroid hitting Earth.
Inflation Another thing the seer prophecized about 2002 is inflation and how it may spiral out of control and bring down the value of the US dollar.
Crisis in France Another prediction says France will be in crisis in 20202 due to a great storm that will lead to floods, fires, and droughts in other parts of the world.
Computers controlling humans Artificial Intelligence and computers' domination over humans has long been predicted in many movies, and sci-fi novels Nostradumas predicted that by 2022 artificial intelligence may rule the computer with a human interface.
While most of these predictions may be far off or greatly premature, none are in the realm of impossibility.
Remember that year where Nostradamus predicted everything was cool? Yeah me neither
Did he refer to Adolf Hitler and JFK by name? Did he actually write “2022”?
Let’s see, what was the last year that didn’t have inflation, war, increasing AI, AND meteor strikes? 1939, with its deflation in the US (though certainly some inflation elsewhere)?
I think his most accurate predictions are when someone goes through his scribblings after a major event then ties some of his incoherency to the major event.
Viola! Of course, it happened as predicted.
Inflation, war,and meteor strike... and then the bad stuff will start.
I predict that no one can accurately predict anything.

Quatrains number 2-24, 4-68, and 5-29 all contain the word “HISTER”.
Here’s one:
Beasts ferocious with hunger will cross the rivers,
The greater part of the battlefield will be against Hister.
Into a cage of iron will the great one be drawn,
When the child of Germany observes nothing.”
I’m with you on the JFK thing...
The quatrains were deliberately obscure so the church couldn’t accuse him of being a witch or something so how do they arrive at these conclusions?
I first read the Nostradamus book in 1966.
The big prediction then was the imminent World War to end all World Wars.
Which didn’t happen.

Especially a guy named John Hogue, so called Nostradamus expert. He has been using Nostradamus predictions for decades and as far as I can tell, zero have been accurate. YouTube has many of his predictions on David McCallum’s show Ancient Prophecies.
It’s very easy to take something that is vague and make it fit something that has already happened. It’s another story to say this specific thing is going to happen and at some point in the future it does.

I listened to this. They never quote the quatrains, just say what he’s predicting. Kinda need the quatrain to examine it for oneself.
The other thing is Nostradamus made all these predictions in the latter half of the 1500s but all the predictions are always oddly about our own time. That seems suspicious. Wouldn’t you think he’d have a few about other centuries, including his own.
