current politics in recent TV episodes

Posted on 12/26/2021 6:10:16 PM PST by jimfr

My eye caught MacGyver as I searched TV series. The 5th season started with faces masks on everyone. then stopped and the later 1/3 concentrated on nanobots in people by the US Government. I was wondering how this influence the public's thoughts. Have any of you seen these episodes or heard anyone comment on them?

I won’t watch any shows where people are wearing masks.

I thought the Hogwarts Challenge might be fun to watch but lasted less than ten minutes into it. I couldn’t stand seeing the 100% masked audience and hearing the muffled cheers. 😖

I found a fifties show called Decoy on Roku.

Beverly Garland as NY undercover police woman.

Dragnet it isn’t but it is good series.

Not any more However if you liked LEVERAGE there is LEVERAGE REDEMPTION on IMDB thru Prime. Most of the original. Characters, nice new ones. A lot of same silly plots but you watch it for the characters. No wuflu masks.

Most entertainment shows today would have the viewer believe that no less than half of the population are gay or gender fluid in some manner. Hardly a show that doesn’t have examples of it. Sometimes two or three side storylines. Couple that with the usual “climate change,” anti-MAGA cuts and leftist idealizations of ‘save-the-world’ politics and you have entertainment today.

The only “TV” we watch these days is from South Korea (historical dramas) and old re-runs of Star Trek. Pretty much everything else on American TV is garbage.
