The James Webb Telescope was successfully launched yesterday, Christmas Day. It is now on route to a point about a million miles from earth where it will be in orbit around the sun and pointed out beyond the solar system. Hopefully, setting up the Webb telescope will be as successful as its launch.
Okay, so here is my question: What AMAZING discoveries do you think the Webb telescope will reveal? The Hubble telescope was able to take us back in time to very early after the creation of the universe but the Webb telescope, using infrared technology will take us back almost to the moment of the Big Bang.
The Hubble revealed that the universe is much more vast and chock full of galaxies that we ever imagined. Also one discovery that SHOCKED scientists is that the universe is expanding at an INCREASING rate rather than slowing down eventually to contract upon itself as was generally expected before the Hubbell telescope.
Given that the Webb telescope will give us a view of the universe to a point much earlier in time than the Hubble, what do you think will be discovered that we did not know before?
It will be discovered that they forgot to take the lens cap off.
“Obama’s certificate of live birth?”
We know without doubt that that exists in the universe of the (very small) Obama and media minds.

How long before it starts sending info back to us???
They will be ble to see a fleet of spaceships moving away from us.

That naturalistic, uniformitarian and skeptical man will, in spite of all logical, rational, and observable evidence to the contrary, deny that there is more to everything than the absence of a creator could ever .... well, create!
All the wonders of the creation will be painted with sci-fi explanations for everything, and that one assumption will be built on another and even though they will work in practical matters, will never attain the mind of God.
Either that, or the Big Bang generated a bit more electrons (or protons) than protons (or electrons) giving a net negative (or positive) charge to the universe and the resulting electrostatic mutual repulsion.
Not a popular theory, AFAIK, I'm the only proponent, it doesn't require billions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of tax paying and reliably voting employees.
Nor does it require an endless supply of imaginary 'fundamental' particles to be created from whole cloth by dumping immense amounts of energy into ever smaller volumes in ever diminishing intervals of time.
Plain old electrons and protons suffice.
It will be the first confirmed observation of the 9km wide comet headed directly to hit Earth in 6 months, 14 days, 4 hrs and 20 min.
Don’t Look Up!

Another 28 days to get into its Lagrange Point 2 (L2) orbit, all the while deploying its sunshield and mirrors. Once in orbit around L2, another 4-5 months of stabilization, tests, mirror cooling, etc. before being placed in operation. My guess is if things go well, perhaps operational sooner.
When WEBB, at last reaches the edge of the Universe, a brick
wall will be seen with a brightly painted sign which reads: “NO TRESPASSING”.
Expansion, is there room for this expanded Universe?
Should we find others, are they also expanding; and, if so,
which of these will eventually prevail?
Fireworks are not in a vacuum..... Think about it.
I think it could completely upend physics if they are willing to let what they observe reconsider what we think we know. The problem is that if history is any guide, they will prefer to accept that there are contradictions rather than to re-examine what we think we know.

Its the number one hit comedy show in this arm of the galaxy. There’s talk of new markets in other arms and just possibly depending on reception, entering Andromeda markets. Its that big. Everyone waits breathlessly to see what stupid things Earther’s will do next.
WINNER!
