I suspect there are many Republican/Conservatives that do not share your view. I also think that many Republicans don’t think the election was stolen but remain silent lest they incur the wrath of those who are true believers who believe it was stolen.

There are a lot of Republicans - the standard kind - who aren't the sharpest bulbs in the drawer, if you know what I mean.

We have a staunch Republican friend like that in our crowd.

The TeeVee told him what to "think" about the "election", and you're not going to change his mind.

One of my more astute friends says that he would have to actually THINK about it, cognitive dissonance would set in, and he might even have his mind changed. And he don't do that.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich told host Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures that there was “no question” the 2020 election was stolen in the key battleground states.

Hell - they were stealing US House seats in the states that Trump won.

There is no more distinction between R’s and D’s that matter. They both are either members in good standing in “The Party”, or they are Patriotic Americans. Mitch, and that former NJ Guvna, that Fat POS, are two members in good standing in “The Party”. It is easy to tell who is who. Look at their portfolios, their total silence as America is sliced and diced, while the Uber wealthy rape and pillage our system.

Your list is faulty. As I understand it, Mike Lee and Rand Paul had concerns about the validity of the returns but eventually said that the election wouldn't be overturned and that Biden was president. The idea that the certifications are going to be, or can be, rejected now is mistaken and ridiculous. It's not going to happen.

Rather than try to stir up trouble, why not recognize the common ground most Republicans have now: they doubt Biden won fair and square, but recognize that they can't prove conclusively that he did, so he is officially president.

Because Mike Lee and Rand Paul wouldn’t fight it. They certified the illegitimate electors. The states wanted them back.

Some state legislators did. I don’t know if a majority of legislators in any state voted for that. My understanding is that if any state’s legislature didn’t want those electors they wouldn’t have chosen to certify them.

They found more evidence of voter fraud, and called for them to be returned. Lee and Paul voted for them. They were illegitimate.

I would think a RINO could watch news and be made aware of various polls showing the vast majority of Republicans believe the election was stolen and even a large plurality of Democrats think it was rigged too.
