Actor Alec Baldwin has posted a video on Instagram days before Christmas where he appears to wallow in self-pity over the 'really tough time' he has been having in recent weeks after accidentally shooting dead a cinematographer on the set of Rust.
Baldwin, 63, uploaded a video on himself speaking directly into the camera two months after the tragic shooting on his Western movie set in New Mexico, when the actor accidentally shot and killed Halyna Hutchins, 42.
In a three-minute long rambling video, Baldwin appears despondent and weary as he tells followers how the only thing he is living for right now is his wife and children.
The video, which was posted on Thursday afternoon, shows Baldwin looking drained and tired, hair unkempt and his face unshaven as he unloads in a stream of consciousness rant where he says he is looking to the future.
First, though, he took time to thank the 'support' he had received from family, friends and fans.
'I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all of the people who sent me such kind words and best wishes and strength and hope and prayers and so forth and thoughts and lots of encouragement and lots of really really great sentiments from so many people,' Baldwin began while standing outside.
"I got hundreds and hundreds of emails from friends, family and colleagues and people I haven't heard from in quite a while to send me strength and good wishes and so forth. I'm really grateful to them. Many people commenting on Instagram seem very very supportive about this difficult situation.'

And he’s going to dedicate his life to searching for the real shooter.
He can’t help himself. In his long interview, he blamed the victim for the gun that shot her without him pulling the trigger!

Derek Chauvin is a Hell of a lot more blameless than Baldwin, and I bet he wants to get this behind him too.
What an utterly callous jackass.
He is a true blue typical sociopath. He shoots a lady dead and only really cares about how it affects him. What a typical Hollywood scumbag.
I felt sad for him until I heard him say he never pulled the trigger. Anyone who has ever handled a single action colt knows what is wrong with that. Now I do not care what he is going through. Think about it. He took a gun where he could have opened the gate and turned the cylinder which would have told him there was a round in it. He didn’t! He could have pointed the gun down and off to the side from her. He didn’t! If he had, she would still be with us. Instead, she is gone!
Well, it’s not like you are a Capitol cop.
You don’t get to shoot someone dead who are not a threat to your life.

Baldwin’s tough time is nothing compared to Halyna Hutchins tough time
as she is dead because Baldwin pointed a gun at her and fired a shot.
He should be dealing with his self pity in prison.

Nor should Kim Potter have been found guilty. She did nothing wrong.
Yet Bloody-Handed Baldwin hasn’t even been arrested yet.
