I like it! But I will confess to having tuxedo bathroom tile.

It is better than Chartreuse or Hot Pink

I think it looks pretty cool actually.

I don’t see anything wrong with it, and I prefer Florida pastels...

I like it too.
If it shocks the locals, it’s just from the stark contrast to the “normal” homes.

Looks like a nice home. But I wouldn’t want it, because it’s in Illinois. 😋

I like the outside and the floor plan - but would go with white inside, with black accents. Otherwise I’d never find my black cat!

I like it, too. The body of the house looks like a dark gray, not a full black. It's got a Frank Lloyd Wright prairie style feel with the huge eave overhangs.

It will take longer to sell and/or will sell at a discount.

Going to take layers of primer on the inside to fix it. Might be cheaper, and longer lasting, to just replace the sheetrock.

Black roof is OK but will be expensive in the summer. The hardest part on the outside is stripping the paint from the stone sections. Never understood why people paint trim black. It will be a headache for years.

Looks fine to me.

Very Frank Lloyd Wright-ish...............

Looks okay. The name “goth home” is cringe AF though, as is goth anything.

This makes the news? There was a house with the same colors in my previous neighborhood - dark grey, black trim, dark shingles. I thought it looked really cool.

I like it. It’s like Frank Lloyd Wright doodled a Craftsman on a napkin. The black works on that lot.

Thomas Edison's Black Maria Movie Studio, where early short films were produced.

The entire building could rotate so the sun would shine through the retractable roof properly.

It’s not my style of home, but I gotta say it actually looks pretty cool.

I don't see why it's being made fun of. It's not my particular style but I actually think it's very well done.

The color doesn’t match the style. Now if it was the same style as the Addams Family...

This is very common in Wisconsin. I would call this a dark grey home. But we have full black homes in Wisconsin as well. I don’t think I ever saw one before moving here. Now I know of 4 in my little town, and I have seen many more in other towns.

I have to say, I don’t understand the choice.

I like the architecture... Half the size of my current house, but far more “cool” looking.
