Hospitals in New York region say they've run out of antibody treatment for omicron variant

Federal supply of the one monoclonal antibody treatment that has proven effective is now "limited," with more doses expected in January, a Health and Human Services spokesperson said.

Major hospitals in the New York region say they have stopped using monoclonal antibody therapies because they have run out of the one treatment that appears to be effective against the omicron variant of the coronavirus, leaving doctors without a vital tool to treat severely ill Covid-19 patients.

New York University and Valley Health System in northern New Jersey notified doctors Sunday...

Meanwhile, Mount Sinai Health System in New York said it would stop offering monoclonal antibodies in its emergency departments....

...only one of the available antibodies — sotrovimab, made by GlaxoSmithKline — appears to be effective against the omicron variant, which accounts for the majority of new Covid cases in the U.S.

Hospitals in other parts of the country say they have very limited supplies of sotrovimab given how new it is, said Dr. Marcus Plescia, the chief medical officer for the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials....

Search Nature or PubMed, don’t rely on wikipedia. Nature and PubMed are where researchers publish.

I don't rely on Wikipedia.

I was sharing the fact that I discovered who one of their most active anti-Ivermectin editor-trolls is.

He's a total little weasel and @sshole.

I’ll look at them for stats like population etc but anything that may be subjective or where they can lie by omission, nope.

Election results and entertainment stuff is pretty much it for me.

Correct! Break out the Ivermectin and the HCQ ! Stop the nonsense.

Now Merck and Pfizer are coming out with pills, and of course, we don't really know what's in them. And they are still under patent, so the prices will be steep.

Getting pretty weary of a general public that can't see the $$$$$ in this thing. And climbing to a million deaths, most of them could have still been living with early therapeutics. I call that murder . . . or war . . . or both.

Yup. Merck’s “new”wonder-pill will be their own 1980s Ivermectin with a pinch of aspirin.

If you look at my Comment #63, you will find the items used in Uttar Pradesh and Goa, India. Use those to strengthen your immunities and heal Covid. Treatment is far more than just Ivermectin.

We have everything on that list except for the cleaning supplies and Paracetamol. Looks to be a fever reducer and wiki says inferior to ibuprofen in that aspect and we have a bunch of IB. We've got Vit D 5000ui, Vit C, B complex, Zinc, IVM and Doxy.

Day 3, still nothing more than common cold symptoms for both of us. My symptoms just started yesterday so I did my first dose of IVM. We've been taking the vitamins/supplements since an hour after she got the call saying positive and I had been taking 800ui of Vit D for a few weeks before that.

I think it's Omicron since it's been so mild. If it's Delta, she got the monoclonal antibodies infusion and I've got Ivermectin/Doxy to get us through. We'll get through it without a hospital or experimental mRNA shot.

The nursing home my wife works at is required to report all cases to the county health dept. They called just to check up on the wife, went through a list of symptoms and covid basics. When my wife told the woman from the health dept that she'd had the mAB infusion, the woman asked if her doctor had sent her for it. Nope.

Well then how did you find out where to go because people have been asking me and I don't have an answer? My husband looked it up online.

The health dept lady also said no doctors seem to know where to get the infusion. They hung up and I called her right back and informed her I did a duckduckgo search for "monoclonal antibody infusion center locations Missouri" and the first result was to a webpage on health.mo.gov which had a link to a map with every MO location.

So the county health dept and all the doctors have no clue where to get the infusion even though the info is on the state health dept website.

A mismanaged disaster from top to bottom. Our entire, oversized government apparatus is broken. I'm just an old blue collar guy and I know more about covid and the available treatments than all these people in this county that are supposed to know those things. Even the mAB infusion that comes from government!

Yeah, I’ll look up TV shows, movies and actors on wiki before imdb because imdb is just a bloated mess of a website.

Dr. Zelenko said he developed his 3 part protocol after studying exploratory work on Covid in France and S. Korea. I know Dr, Didier Raoult or R.D.? was a significant French source and HCQ was likely one he used, but I know nothing specific about S. Korea except that one of the established drugs tested was the AIDS drug Kaletra. A local east coast urban pharmacist said back in spring 2020 several gay men had come in asking about Kaletra. I was looking for zinc at the time, but the pharmacy was out of it with more on order.

I wonder if monoclonal antibodies were obtained by super-conscientious parents for their children who were too young for the vaccines.

It should not be possible for people to do this when others are already ill and dying, but all sorts of stuff goes on.

There was massive cheating in NYC hospitals at the beginning of the vaccine distribution that caused the program to be removed from the hospitals and given to the drug store chains. People on the hospital staff have said that the hospital programs stopped giving the vaccine because of the onerous regulations involved in the distribution. Both could be true, one because of the other.

I think they are extrapolating from the results back to the cause rather than testing every case in a lab, but the statement is still valid.

I decided to recheck recommendations for zinc so here is Dr. Zelenko’s original 3/23/20 letter. https://faculty.utrgv.edu/eleftherios.gkioulekas/zelenko/Vladimir-Zelenko-treatment.pdf
Here is Dr. Z’s 2/23/21 treatment which was Censored, but is now elsewhere. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KPhMTBfLkaG-W6KI-D0J6f2kfcQI0D2MKtLNBUd_mTc/edit Note different doses for mild, and moderate/severe Covid. See that while daily Vitamin D for Mild is 5,000IU, for Mod/Severe it is 10,000IU for 7 days or 40,000IU each day 1 and 2.
Later, he also moved preferance from Azithromycin to safer Doxicycline. Regarding blood thinners he also follows other findings and AVOIDS heparin.
NOTE: There are links for futher research at bottom of each page.

Personally, I would use more Vitamin C, see Dr. Robert Carhcart, various Vitamin C articles, especially “bowel tolerance”. The Tylenol may have been for fever or also for aches and pains. I have found that taking 1 or 2 grams of Vitamin C can reduce a fever by 2 degrees, repeat as needed. Good luck.

A few months ago, I saw a video of Zelenko detailing his Covid Ivermectin-based prophylaxis cocktail. He also referred to the vax shots of death.

The Emergen-C ® I'm drinking has 1000mg of C

https://vladimirzelenkomd.com/treatment-protocol/

https://vladimirzelenkomd.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Treatment_Protocol.pdf

Uploaded August 2021 as per url. He has a WordPress website which stores media files in monthly folders inside the /uploads/ folder.(wp-content = WordPress Content) I build websites and usually with WordPress.

Since I'm over 45, I'm going by Moderate/High risk patients.

Matches FLCCC's I-MASK+ outpatient protocol as well. I went with Doxycycline because that's what was available to me.

“Could you share your recipe?”

Sure.

Buy 3 grapefruits and 4 lemons. Peel them and chop the peels into pieces. (they don’t have to be real small prices). Put the peels in a pot with a glass lid or a crock pot. Add 5 cups of filtered water. Bring to a boil then simmer on low for 4 hours. Take off heat and let it cool down to room temperature. Remove the peels and throw them away. Strain the liquid into a jar and refrigerate.

Do not remove the lid of the pot during cooking or cooldown.

We take 2 tablespoons of the HCQ in a small glass of tonic water everyday. If you start to feel sick take 1 tablespoon every hour. And go to the doctor.

Please note that here he is saying “elemental” zinc. This is pure zinc. His first letter said 220 mg. zinc oxide, which is NOT elemental zinc. There is also zinc gluconate and some others so you have to determine how much of these compounds is actually the zinc part. So far I have not found a conversion chart or table that provides this breakdown. If anyone has it please share.

Too many zincs.

For example, approximately 23% of zinc sulfate consists of elemental zinc; thus, 220 mg of zinc sulfate contains 50 mg of elemental zinc (Ref). Zinc picolinate (20% of elemental zinc), zinc ascorbate (15%), zinc chloride (48%), zinc carbonate (52%), zinc citrate (31%), zinc bisglycinate (25%) (Ref) and zinc gluconate (14%) and zinc oxide (80%) (Ref).

https://www.aestheticsadvisor.com/2021/01/quercetin-and-zinc-zelenko-treatment.html

Zinc Oxide 80% but it’s for topical use.

https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffcm&q=elemental+zinc Brings up wiki side panel for zinc sulfate.

Zinc gluconate is what I have and has the least amount of elemental zinc at 14%. Thanks Mr Bannon. I got zinc and D3 through warroom.

Day 4 and I’m feeling fine. Blood oxy at 98. Wife’s is 93 which is pretty normal for her with the bronchitis. I went out and cut a tree down for firewood and brought it up by the splitter yesterday and feel like I could work on it or other chores today if it wasn’t Christmas.

Also on that page, The AAPS (Association of American Physicians and Surgeons) recommends zinc sulfate, gluconate or citrate. These forms are available in pharmacies, health food stores, and sold online. Zinc sulfate 220 mg provides 50 mg elemental zinc, the recommended anti-viral dose.

approximately 23% of zinc sulfate consists of elemental zinc; thus, 220 mg of zinc sulfate contains 50 mg of elemental zinc
zinc citrate (31%),
zinc gluconate (14%)

The Zinc Gluconate I have says 25mg of zinc with a daily value of 227%. I’ve been taking two for 50mg.

https://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements-zinc/art-20366112
The recommended daily amount of zinc is 8 milligrams (mg) for women and 11 mg for adult men.

Other sites have the same. Calculator says 11 X 227% = 24.97.

I’m going to guess that the label on the pill bottle with mg and daily value says how much actual/elemental zinc there is and not the amount of zinc gluconate.

Thank so much. I’m good right now, but I’ll definitely cook some of this up as a preventative.
