Can funny gun signs affect your self-defense rights? “Keep honking, I’m reloading.” “Trespassers will be shot; survivors will be shot again.” “This home protected by the Second Amendment.” “We don’t call 911.” The Armed Attorneys break down why your funny gun sign for your home or vehicle might not be so funny in a court of law.
Ret. Navy SEAL Jonathan Gilliam on Kyle Rittenhouse: ‘Everything He Did Was Textbook Perfect’

Kyle Rittenhouse’s conduct on August 25, 2020, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, was “textbook perfect,” Jonathan Gilliam, retired Navy SEAL, former FBI agent, and author of Sheep No More: The Art of Awareness and Attack Survival, said.
Gilliam stated, “When he had his weapon and he was confronted by these imminent threats of loss of life or serious bodily injury, he engaged in a proper manner to eliminate the threat. You didn’t see him out there hammering people down, mowing people down. It’s when the threat got too close and it posed an imminent threat … he took action.”
Rittenhouse was not “praying and spraying in a total reaction,” Gilliam added. “If you look at who these people were that he actually shot, and what their actions were, and how he was trying to get away, and they came after him, everything he did was textbook perfect.”
“Even when he was on the ground, he was not engaging people unless they engaged him,” he remarked. “It was perfect.”
Rittenhouse’s control of his firearm was “amazing,” Gilliam emphasized. “[He] held his weapon properly … kept his weapon in his hands when he was getting beat [and] when he was running. He wasn’t sweeping people. He didn’t drop his gun, He held onto it and maintained positive control the whole time with his finger off the trigger.”
Leftist riots would have been prevented had thousands of Americans followed Rittenhouse’s example to defend the peace, Gilliam held.
Videos of Rittenhouse shooting his attackers revealed “great weapon-handling skills,” Gilliam concluded.

Not in a rational world. Nope.
Any lawyer will tell you that saying “words” apart from means and ability does not trigger a lawful self-defense response, so neither would “statements” such as these, at law. Now granted, a person may decide that such words are not nice or even harmful, and if on a jury that may influence (unlawfully) an outcome.
Remember, any response with application of force requires the offender to have demonstrated three legs- Ability, Intent and Imminence, and the “victim” also needs to be in Jeopary as a reasonable person would view it.
Ya gotta agree with Bill Shakespeare in that lawyers should go first.
Joke,,, It’s a joke.
What sort of trousers is “serpants?”
After all, you are only wondering!
Regards,
Never forget Tuco’s Rule:
“When you have to shoot, shoot. Don’t talk.”
agreed.
this present crop of act before understanding folks are not to be underestimated as to their lack of understanding.
I’ve got a Great Comeback,,
But I have to fold it
In Half.
Lock & load, and have it at the ready. 🙂
Watched the vid...My main takeaway is....good grief she is hot. lol
Snakeskin underpants?
This. As evidenced again in the Rittenhouse case.
Likewise funny/cool markings on guns.
“Smile and wait for flash”
[Punisher logo]
etc
...may not cause you a problem, but they certainly won’t help you in court.
No trespassing.
After that is anyone’s guess.

This is what they WANT. To make gun ownership and use as “icky” and as criminal as possible. Something not to be lauded and protected, but to be used as a priori evidence to continue to tear down that Right.
The courts are only part of the picture. Is your county District Attorney motivated by an offshore bank account that George Soros and friends contribute to? I don't *think* mine is, given his rack record... but I really don't know for sure. For many people in this country the reality is that a prosecutor is looking for opportunities to use his or her discretion very differently than has been the norm for a long, long time.
The "funny gun signs" began showing up at gun shows in the 1970s, IIRC. The first one I can recall had a revolver image on it, with text spelling out "Never Mind the Dog... Beware Of Owner". Of all my family and friends who have owned guns over the years, I can't think of one who had any sort of bumper sticker or yard sign advertising the fact. Well, there was a second cousin. who had a Sturm, Ruger eagle logo sticker on the back window of his pickup. Still, pretty subtle.
Today, we face not only the local legal system but the larger threats of the intelligence agencies and the info-gathering tech giants, and in response we discuss the merits of being a "grey man". Heck, nearly all gun owners were precisely that, back before Bush 41 and Clinton began stirring the pot. I see no problem with people who know the law and - more importantly - the "red flags" that prosecutors are looking for, reminding us that sometimes, a bit of discretion is valuable.
Which brings me back to my point... if it is time to hide... isn’t it already past due time to FIGHT. Literally?
As the bumper-sticker says, “The Founders would be stacking bodies by now”.
... and yes... Keith Ellison is a Soros funded AG in this State. MN is the template for what was then rolled out in CA, IL, and NY... Bank on it.
I got several on my fence and around my house and have more coming.
Not gonna play their game and hide. I’m 60 years old and I will be damned if I have to play scared now.
This has been true for years. Personally, I love the signs but they open you up to political prosecution, because we no longer have rule of law in this country.
I like MY sign:
IF YOU COME ON TO MY PROPERTY, I WILL HOLD YOU AT GUNPOINT, MARCH YOU DOWN TO MY BASEMENT, AND RAPE AND TORTURE YOU (NO MATTER YOUR GENDER) FOR SEVERAL WEEKS BEFORE PEELING YOUR SKIN FROM YOUR BODY, SLOWLY, UNTIL YOU PERISH FROM THE PAIN. I MAKE THIS STATEMENT IN FULL AWARENESS OF ITS POTENTIAL INFLUENCE IN ANY CRIMINAL CASE I AM INDICTED ON. SIGNED, LAZAMATAZ. (notary public stamp and information follows.)
Leave it to Lazmataz ... the best
