, $5,000 in one-dollar bills was dumped onto a carpet in the middle of the ice as 10 local teachers readied themselves to shovel up as much of it as they could.
When the competition began, the teachers — all wearing hockey helmets — crawled into the pile of cash, frantically stuffing the bills into their shirts as an arena of spectators hollered and cheered until every dollar was snatched up.
In the end, Barry Longden, a teacher at a local high school, snatched the most cash — $616
Alexandria Kuyper, a fifth-grade teacher, managed to grab $592

—”Some folks just don’t know how to have fun.
Until the internet came along, we didn’t have the wonderful opportunity to hear from these kinds of losers. It’s the ‘democratization of the disaffected’.
The bigger issue is folks are getting too practiced at getting/feigning outrage and broadcasting the worthless opinions of those that should be, most effectively, ignored.”
ABSOLUTELY, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!
Will they ever go away?
It reminds them of libtard looters they want us to forget 🤪
Was Bill Clinton there?
;)

I remember my older cousins participating at the county fair.
They mostly lived on farms at that time.
—”Carville famously said about ‘dragging a dollar bill through a trailer park’?”
That was a fun quip but I do not see it as applicable in this case.
This is simply a fun event.
From the photo, it looks a bit too “civil” to me. If it were me, you see me flat on my stomach doing the reverse snow angel without regard for who might be in my way.
Lucrative if somewhat undignified. 😆
$5000?
Pikers. I’ve stuck more than that under g-strings in one night.
—”I suppose I would have been okay if it were “climb greased hills” or something...”
A favorite quote I seldom get to use:
“Lopsided men run circles around the hills of success.”
Found it in an ancient Bartlett’s Familiar Quotations and cannot find it again or the author?
—”Jeez, they are teachers. They deserve abuse. Don’t make excuses for leftist pieces of shit.”
I’m not feeling any love?
Pls, see #18.
Your observation is my main thought. Someone for the sake of safety or comfort or something removed 90% of the entertainment value and the dexterity required from the event. Wearing helmets while on a carpet is complete overkill.
I hope they had their seatbelts fastened as well.
Now, if they’d limit this to females and bikinis they’d really have something!
And maybe a weight limit...

OH, BE NICE!🤪

Plan your work, and work your plan!
LOL! Eeew. Need a hazmat suit there!
Wasn’t this scene in, “The Invisible Man”?
I was not a farm boy, this was on a military base overseas, but I will say, there is something disconcerting when as a young boy, you willing throw your body on top of a creature that is unwilling to be caught, and it struggles mightily.
You realize it is an animal, and it has real, non-docile strength that is a level above what you as a human have!
I had no prayer at catching that thing, even though it was a $10 prize, which would have been a lot for me!
Looks like a typical teachers union negotiating session, to me. Maybe some critics just don’t like to see it done so explicitly. :)
