ELLIOTT, Iowa (AP) — A coalition of California restaurants and grocery stores has filed a lawsuit to block implementation of a new farm animal welfare law, adding to uncertainty about whether bacon and other fresh pork products will be much more expensive or in short supply in the state when the new rules take effect on New Year’s Day.

The lawsuit is the latest step in a tumultuous three-year process of enacting rules overwhelmingly approved by voters

Well, I guess it’s all kind of academic at this point. We get 7 more years of a Democrat President, all that manufacturing will be gone, IMO.

Seven years? The tire plant died in the late 80’s when a British firm tried to leverage out Goodyear and their outstanding stocks. Westvaco met the same fate a few years ago. They gutted the plant like a fish, sold off all the internal machinery and assets to some overseas Asian concern, and now it sits like a cadaver, and the locals have moved away or are on welfare. The Celanese fabric plant, which employed thousands (including my grandfather), moved their manufacturing, and now it’s a federal max security prison. We had one of the largest rail yards on the eastern seaboard, and it’s now a graveyard. We were the second largest city in the state of Maryland next to Baltimore, and now we’re a quaint little tourist trap up in the mountains. THIS is what greed, globalism, and forty years of liberal politics have done to my hometown.

“Just another push to get the public to eating hay. Been going on for about 60 years.”

Yep, they may want to back off this agenda against food stock. Because their loved pets are going to start disappearing. And when the pets are gone the term “vegan meal” might take on a whole new meaning. lol

They are fighting a fight that can’t be won... Meat eaters are going to eat meat no matter the source.
