ELLIOTT, Iowa (AP) — A coalition of California restaurants and grocery stores has filed a lawsuit to block implementation of a new farm animal welfare law, adding to uncertainty about whether bacon and other fresh pork products will be much more expensive or in short supply in the state when the new rules take effect on New Year’s Day.
The lawsuit is the latest step in a tumultuous three-year process of enacting rules overwhelmingly approved by voters

Oh, the joys of Democrat rule...
Will they ration by ration card or odd-even days of purchase?
Just another push to get the public to eating hay. Been going on for about 60 years.
Should be plenty of bacon there figuring all the Muzzies that call the place home.
If they are trying to regulate farming in other states, the Supreme Court will overturn it.

I expect it will be prohibitively expensive, which I believe is the whole idea. Politicians in California believe it is their moral imperative to impose their morality on everyone, and it is such a noble endeavor that any, absolutely any, means are justified. Saving the lives of animals and stopping people from eating meat are such imperatives; everything else is just a pretext.
Do you?

The plan is to price real meat out of the market, then usher in BILL GATES fake meat.
I love my bacon but have a problem with gestation stalls. It is torture for the animal. My wife is a vet and I have seen them on her farm calls

If your dog was in one you would be screaming your head off
Why can’t producers of pork and other meats just skip California and continue with business as usual for the other states? Let Californians go “vegan,” or vote the Democrats out.
The voters in California approved this by a 2-1 margin. They wanted it so let them pay.

Do you really think the majority of American people have visited a hog operation? LMAO.
The same people who build their mcmansion 2 miles away from a hog operation and want it shut down due to the smell.
The demand for bacon in my house is inelastic.
***want it shut down due to the smell.***
There is a reason so many hog farms have been shut down in the Midwest and moved to the High Plains where few people live.
When they spread the liquid hog manure on the fields you will gag down wind for miles!
