This was a fun article! I studied Russian for a year and found it very difficult. I would have been outed as soon as I opened my mouth. My three years of German was only slightly more convincing.

I am currently studying the Russian language, and it is pretty difficult. All the above is true though, they also have no “th”, “j” or “w” sound so you have to combine certain letters. I do recommend Pimsleur for a really good pronunciation guide. Studying Russian has kept my brain very fresh!
