A guardian for international peace and security sits on the Visitor's Plaza outside #UN Headquarters.
The guardian is a fusion of jaguar and eagle and donated by the Government of Oaxaca, Mexico @MexOnu . It is created by artists Jacobo and Maria Angeles. UN Photo/Manuel Elías

I am not sure I agree with this man’s comments.
Peace and Security? Most frightening sculpture I have ever seen depicting peace. Aztec and Mayan symbols of the god of the underworld, eagles wings of control? Yeah...
I guess we shall wait and see.
