This North Texas suburb is the best place in the country to live, according to the New York Times

EULESS, Texas — The best place to live in Texas — nay, the country — isn't Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin or anywhere out in west Texas, according to the New York Times.

It's Euless.

That's according to "Everyone’s Moving to Texas. Here’s Why," a new opinion column from the Times' Farhad Manjoo, who looked at a lot of data and applied a strict set of parameters to determine where would be the best place in the country to move to. Seven of the top 10 locations are in Texas, and all of those Texan cities are in North Texas.

Ugh! I’m from Euless. Folks still live there. Trust me, there is no more room to put people. It sure has been nice to see .y little home town grow up, but I sure don’t want more people invading :)

Yep, leftists infecting predominantly white areas to escape the results of the diversity and tolerance they begged for. After a few months in Euless, they’ll become restless and start moaning about the lack of diversity, etc all over again. It’s what they do.

Got my empathy, man.

I heard the collective groan all the way out here in CA and wondered what it was about. The headline explained everything.

Look. Texas will be JUST FINE, if y’all do this ONE SIMPLE THING: DO NOT permit ANYONE to be elected or appointed to sit on any governing body of ANY Public-sector ANYTHING until they’ve been a solid citizen of the State for AT LEAST 5 years. An entire DECADE would be better, perhaps, but I’d say 5 years is an absolute MINIMUM.

CA went to Hell because the leftist tides from back East came, here, settled here, and almost immediately began polluting the PTAs, HOAs, City Councils, School Boards... that corrupting influence is what’s taking CA to the bottom.

There’s no sin letting folks move from elsewhere, but — for God’s sake — DON’T let them govern until they have time-in-grade enough to prove their mettle.

No that is not turned CA , it is the huge growth in Hispanics, that is why they fly illegals to Texasa nd Florida their next target.
White liberals are what the MSM wants you to stay focused on white liberals, nope, as Richard Baris (a real pollster) and others have shown it is primarily conservatives who move out of CA, NY etc and they vote more conservative than long term residents. CA is a state where “people of color”, are now about 65% and block vote for Dems-same as nationwide , Blacks vote 90%+ dem, Hispanics 70/30 Dem, Asians now 75/25% Dem- that is what drives the Dem vote in CA and most states.

And in states going from Red to Blue-it’s the growth of these block voters, primarily Hispanics

Just look at the states won by Trump in 2016,he won 32 states but only 4 have a population of Hispanic voters over 13%. Clinton by contrast won 28 states and only 5 had a Hispanic population of under 13%.

“Ugh! I’m from Euless.”

Bad attitude. When life serves up lemons make lemonaid.

You can rent out 8x8ft sections of your front lawn for CA homeless sites. You should do quite well with upsell items like needles and meth pipes and bottles of mad dog.

It's "The Grapes of Wrath" in reverse.

Toke solace. Beto won the native Texan vote in 2018. Ted Cruz won the vote from Texans not born there and the election.

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!

It was a great place to live, 4 years ago, before all of the Californian’s and New Yorkers moved here. My Property Tax has gone up 56% in the last 7 years, and I protest it EVERY year and get it reduced by an average of $50K each protest.

A neighbor moved in next door, Paid $1.2M for a house that was pulled off the marked after a year at $650K 4 years ago. My new California Neighbor has a restored ‘70’s Ford Pickup. I asked him what motor it had. He said “I don’t Know”. Is a V8 or a Straight 6? “I Don’t know”.

Neat.

The Dallas Stars/Dr. Pepper ice center there produced some good youth ice hockey teams.

Once a state has an income tax, many bad things follow...that’s why Texas is so much better than California.

The original article is filled with the liberal claptrap you’d expect from the NYT.
