In this messed-up mixed-up world the formerly respected Fourth Estate has devolved into a collection of flat-out liars, brain-dead ideologues and unmitigated ignoramuses. Turn on any of the mainstream media channels or go to any one of hundreds of online outlets and you’ll be swamped in effluent.
The horrific murderous tragedy in Waukesha, Wisconsin in which a man deliberately and determinedly drove his SUV at a high rate of speed through a parade last week is being called a “parade crash” by the most liberal media outlets.
According to 95% of the media talking heads and their cohort, Kyle Rittenhouse is a ‘murdering white supremacist.’ Laughably, Snopes calls the three convicted felons who attacked Rittenhouse -- one a domestic abuser and rapist, another a pedophile, and the third a burglar -- ‘victims.’ Snopes goes further saying those three felons were there to ‘peacefully protest.’ Never mind the fires, the looting and property destruction. None of which was discussed in the vast majority of the media during Rittenhouse’s trial or after his acquittal.
Now we have a new variant of COVID-19 which the physician who first encountered and reported it says is “mild.” In a report in the Telegraph, Dr. Angelique Coetzee, a GP for thirty-three years who also chairs the South African Medical Association says, "Their symptoms were so different and so mild from those I had treated before."

Everything seems to be distorted to fit the newest leftist narrative that they are trying to get people to believe.
I think the lowest, most despicable form of life on this planet is an MSM Journalist, myself. Completely devoid of conscience, honor, truth or decency.
It is often said that 99% of the media is very far Left. They tell me that the exception is Fox. Fox is the 1% which is not far Left. They tell me that Fox is evil and unreliable, because Fox doesn’t repeat the same Narrative that all the other media parrots.
But, when I watch Fox, I see The Narrative. I see Far Left news coverage, almost entirely. I do not consider Fox to be an exception. I think Fox is as much MSM as any other station.
Imagine what kind of market share a station could actually get if it really focused on demented Joe Biden, Patriotic Donald Trump, Evil Dr. Fauci, and the travesty of BLM and COVID. But no one does that.
The devil is the father of lies. Liars in the media do it because they’re just speaking their father’s native tongue, as Jesus once put it. They can’t help it any more than I can help speaking English.

There are dark forces pitting us all against each other using the disinformation tactics perfected by our own intelligence agencies (and other of other nations).
I can tell you that China and Iran fed a great deal of disinformation to our side during the 2020 election via "trusted sources".
A free-thinker with conservative viewpoints has no chance, even with a 4.0 grade average from a good school.
As others have said, the MSM is no longer functioning as any kind of actual “media” or news organizations. They are a wholly owned subsidiary of the leftist/fascist deep state. They are the propaganda wing, blm/antifa are the militant wing. Somewhere there is group/entity making decisions and pulling strings - follow the money, who benefits long-term from the excrement the left advocates. There’s also apparently a small group of fixers than run around quietly ending problems and threats. You know, with the odd suicide, traffic accident, small plane crash, heart attack...
Investigate, observe, and educate yourself. Then follow your own heart and gut feeling as the best guides.

Although the main reason they lie is to deceive or gain unfair advantage.
That said, I would believe someone who is actually able to do something with their hands like an electrician, someone who has built a cabin or restored an old car, a homesteader or even a pick pocket over a politician,lawyer or a fake journalist.
You know people who have actually done something other than go to college and then straight into some government related job.
Those people, while very well paid, when you step back from it all and consider their lives are really kind of an embarrassment.
They are incapable or unwilling to do even the most basic tasks.
Someone else does everything for them. Including raising their kids.
Yet they are the “rulers” of the free world?
IIRC, the word “press” is only mentioned ONE TIME in the US Constitution. I believe the founders thought the inclusion of “press” and its relatively new technology was an accommodation to the thought that commonly held thoughts and ideas could be distributed more easily, so its voice should also be protected as with speech.
It turns out that the technology outstripped the intellect and found refuge in the evil hearts of those who use would [mis]information to control AND to effectively abuse the Constitution and the original founders’ goals and negate it wherever they desire.
To my mind, if they want to hold guns to the “musket standard,” I say that we hold the press to the “Franklin Standard.”
This is in no way an attempt to one - up TJ, but a strategy I employ as an example. In my work I am often at the center of matters of public import. When I read the media reports - on topics which I am well versed - I can see numerous factual errors and propaganda techniques. I simply attribute the same level of incredulity to stories on topics about which I know very little.
As a result, I don’t read ‘them’ very much anymore.
[However I do consider myself enrolled in FR University].

True...but the main difference is that there is at least the semblance of ‘choice’ in the election of a politician. With journalists, tain’t so... :0)
[And before I get the standard “well, viewer/readership is a form of exercising choice,” I’d say that those whoever entities controlling the MSM simply do not care about that. They’ve shown they’ll keep losers in place for as long as it takes.]
