"Blazing Saddles" probably omitted out of political correctness but I would put it right up there. I still crack up every time when Sheriff Bart goes "Where the white women at?" In fact, that was a catchphrase my Marine Corps buddies used whenever we walked into the E Club at Camp Pendleton (the black Marines with us laughed just as hard).
Glad to see "Dumb and Dumber" didn't make the grade. While I can appreciate dumb slapstick and let my brain take a vacation for 90 minutes or so, that movie was not funny at all - just dumb.
I also appreciate the subtle humor of the MST3K crew as they riff through really bad movies. That show is a guilty pleasure of mine.

“The Gods Must Be Crazy.” Don’t think I’ve laughed that hard in my life.

At random, at work, I'll end sentences "....that would be greaaaaaaat."

On occasion, I've also said "it's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care."
FWIW, Human Resources pros have some awesome ninja-like skills when it comes to workplace problems...as I progressed through my career, I've come to appreciate them more.

I am not turning to Forbes to tell me what’s funny and their list proves it.
Missing in action:
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Young Frankenstein
Ghostbusters
Space Balls
Blazing Saddles...
I’m convinced those on the Forbes list were the only comedies the list’s author ever saw.

Frequency of laughs ignores magnutude of laughs. You would have to do another list with the loudest laughs. A movie where you laugh often may not be as funny as a movie where you laugh a lot harder. Then there is the laughing-til-you-cry factor.

Office Space was great.
The movie that made me last the hardest, and this included getting up and slapping the stairs going up the aisle, was The Spy Who Shagged Me, Austin Powers 2.
The scene when Dr. Evil’s space ship is taking off, and everyone’s comments about its “shape”, as well as the tent silhouette scene where Austin and Heather were pulling things out from the duffle bag, were thoroughly awesome!

It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World is pretty funny, although it does turn serious/slow down during the scenes with Spencer Tracy at the police station.

Blazing Saddles, hands down...written primarily by Mel Brooks and Richard Pryor. It's not widely know that Richard was a major contributor.
Borat is plain stupid, Cohen is more of a shockjock than a comedian.

No Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy or Mel Brookes. This is a lousy list. I only liked three out of the whole list, and I literally hated several of them. American Pie? Masturbating into an apple pie to find out what sex feels like? Disgusting.
