When the left says, ‘Whites are desperate to hold on to power’, what they are really expressing is their hatred. They are fueled by hatred.
One of the things that has ramped up their hatred was the success of Trump in telling the truth to minorities about which political party has their backs and their best interests. They (the left) are the ones who are desperate. They see their hold on minorities waning, and they will do anything to hold on to THEIR power and stature - which they know is dependent upon continued race and class divisions.

I fail to see how “racism” can be in any way attributed to capitalism. True capitalism is a pure meritocracy, colorblind to immutable traits as skin color or religious doctrine.
But the buddy system of “crony capitalism” is very much geared to apportioning out the winners and losers, and those criteria have almost nothing at all to do with merit.

Absolutely correct! It was to discourage us from putting down the rioters. People can legally protest, sure, but once you toss a brick or Molotov cocktail you’re fair game. The idea was to have frightened people beg for a police state to “protect them”.
