Kamala Harris appeared to contradict Biden, saying Kyle Rittenhouse verdict shows the criminal justice system needs to be more equitable

Vice President Kamala Harris commented on the verdict in Kyle Rittenhouse's homicide trial, suggesting it showed the criminal justice system is not equitable, apparently contradicting President Joe Biden's remarks.

In a tweet Friday evening, the vice president and former prosecutor said: "Today's verdict speaks for itself. I've spent a majority of my career working to make our criminal justice system more equitable. It's clear, there's still a lot more work to do."

While Harris' comments seemed to condemn the outcome of the trial, Biden had stood by the jury's decision earlier Friday.

"I stand by what the jury has concluded. The jury system works and we have to abide by it," Biden told reporters on the White House lawn.

In a written statement that followed, Biden said: "While the verdict in Kenosha will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included, we must acknowledge that the jury has spoken."

<><>Does Harris mean that the Kenosha verdict should have been more racially equitable?

With any luck, we won’t get to hear the dork elaborate.

She’s a know-nothing knee jerk lefty.

What the heck is an “equitable” verdict?

Does Kamala have a quota for verdicts in courtroom lottery?

Grosskreutz got the double whammy from Kyle’s shot. Not only did he lose a bicep but he lost the use of his wife beating arm.

Strange comments from both Kamala and Biden on the verdict. She says it speaks for itself which is a dodge. He puts out two statements that are at odds with each other — one that seems to accept the verdict but another which seems to reject it saying people are right to be angered by it but not explaining why. You can tell the outcome is problematic for them and they’re having to weasel word things in politician like ways. Meanwhile Trump comes straight out and explains his view, saying it was a clear case of self defense.

Great minds want to know...

I know you're just joking around but I'll still answer your questions.

Specifically regarding the Rittenhouse case, Laughing Kamala means that the U.S. justice system failed to unjustifiably punish President Trump or any of his 75 Million+ supporters (which includes Kyle Rittenhouse). Laughing Kamala doesn't like that.

As I often say, the Democrat Party Cabal (DPC) will continue maniacally bashing Trump (and his 75 Million+ voters) on a 24/7/365 basis through 2024 ... as it has relentlessly done since the 2020 Presidential "election." The DPC's (and Kamala's) constant message to America is: If you supported or voted for Donald Trump either in 2016 or 2020, you are a guilty, evil, hateful, despicable, racist, homophobic, sexist xenophobe.

In closing, I hope the "Great minds" you mentioned appreciate my indisputable answer.

They never elaborate!

I mean, could you imagine her holding a press conference and stating:

"There have been some questions about what I meant exactly in referring to the lack of equity in this verdict. Let me precisely explain what I mean by 'equity' and demonstrate how it was lacking in this verdict..."

Never!

Even if she did begin that way, she would only then proceed to ramble about the "Slave Era" and "lynchings," etc.

Regards,

It shows no such thing and any effort to tamper with the system would be catastrophic.

Which defendant’s rights would she like to remove? (From white defendants only,of course).

I guess there would be a quota system to require more white and less black convictions. IOW lynchings.

” “Today’s verdict speaks for itself. I’ve spent a majority of my career working to make our criminal justice system more equitable. It’s clear, there’s still a lot more work to do.” “

It’s clear to me that “Let’s go Brandon” applies to Kamala too.

Actually, Grosskreutz has been charged with various crimes in the past, and generally gotten a favorable ‘pass’ with little to no jail-time on each occasion. I would imagine that Grosskreutz will continue to be a professional criminal....commit more crimes, and get more ‘passes’. The system works for him.

How was this different from Biden? He said he was angry and disappointed by the verdict. He is on record calling Rittenhouse a white supremacist with no evidence of any kind.
More media BS.

BS from BI.

She's right for the wrong reason - prosecutorial misconduct had been occurring for a long time and typically against minorities. You don't fix it by making it more "equitable." It must be eliminated.

The far left and the media has been trying to lynch white defendants via the courts - because this is exactly what's been happening to blacks for decades. This is why black parents teach their children not to trust whitey or white systems.

Fortunately the problem isn't the system or the constitution it's the people who are ignoring and misinterpreting it.

If Rittenhouse would've been convicted yesterday we would all have felt what blacks have been experiencing without relief for generations.

I’d like to hear from this air-headed dolt the mechanical details of how our “justice system” can become more “equitable”.

Equitable? No black is arrested or charged for anything anymore. They can kill, rob, harass, and steal and no one does anything to stop them.

The YouTube lawyer panel talked about this being an advantage to the prosecution because if the defense did anything similar, it would be witness tampering. I believe it was one of the points the panel took issue with the defense lawyers not making a stronger point or case.

The criminal justice industry needs criminals. Recyling them is efficient.
