This disease is literally an everyday finding in any American city that has South of the Border immigrants. It is the most common cause of seizures SOTB.
Humans get the worms by eating bad pork. They get the brain findings by drinking water contaminated by human waste.
Joe needs to send a few more illegals to Boston, and the NEJM won’t be so jazzed about all this.

Haha, I watched the first couple of seasons of “House” and when they had that episode where he deals with the guy who got Sistery-cosis (that’s my name for it) by exposure to water from a cistern that pigeons had been crapping into - he was growing pot on a rooftop, if my memory serves - I was like “I know what that is! I know what that is!”
I know what Sistery-cosis is because I was transcribing radiology reports at one point in my life and there was a child (sad story) who had it. The doctors were having a hell of a time figuring it out until he went for CT/MRI and there that little critter was.
So many wonderful things in this world!
