20 Movies So Bad, They're Actually Really Good
Some movies are so terrible that they come full circle and become good again. Which is the best.

LOL. Sam Elliott can turn almost any movie into a classic.

"Xanadu" is on the list, but I liked it, especially for the music, which included
Mission to Moscow by Benny Goodman & His Orchestra--which was also the title of a really bad movie.

Roger Corman is/was the greatest B-movie impresario of all time. While his movies were low budget he never purposefully intended to make a bad one. This is why his films are usually pretty decently entertaining. His Poe films and such are all quite good and all on minimal budgets. Corman could really squeeze a nickel.
Movie makers should be required to view his work to learn that decent films can be made without massive budgets. I believe that, in general, the bigger the budget, the worse the SciFi movie. Now, I know there are exceptions. Yet so many of the best films are done with relatively lower budgets. Star Wars, Alien, District 9, Terminator (original), Pitch Black, Primer for example. Versus anything by Michael Bay or (God help us) Avatar, or the last three Star Wars flicks.

I liked “Battle Beyond the Stars,” which is essentially Akira Kurosawa’s “The Seven Samurai” (1954) set out in space near a distant planet—named, interestingly enough, Akir. One of the samurai is an Earthling who wears a Stetson hat and boots.

Road House isn’t even the “best worst” Patrick Swayze movie, although it has its moments.
I’d go with “Next of Kin” or “Point Break” instead.
