I rarely watch Commercial TV, but watched some of the World Series.
I seriously don’t think I saw a single white guy in any of the commercials.
I would encourage folks to look at the ads on this video and any they may see on TV to spot the hypnosis technique.
Here is how it works.
Objects move from the left—then they move from the right.
This confuses the brain and makes it more susceptible to “believing” whatever message follows.
It is most obvious in auto ads—cars driving in one direction, then another.
But—it is also done with moving graphics of any type.
These folks do not play fair.
TV is designed to program _you_.
Not just TV. My bank’s website has a carousel of rotating images and most have a person in the image. 3 out of 4 will be black or hispanic. This area if 97% white.
We hadn’t noticed. LOL! Of course we did. And, more and more in some foreign language too.
Just saw a black Santa Claus in an Oreo cookie commercial last night...
My friends and I noticed this and commented on it in the late 90s. White Men were either absent or portrayed as idiots or uncoool or weak soy boys in commercials. If there was an interracial couple it was Black Guy-White Girl 95% of the time at least if not more. Fathers were also universally portrayed as fools the rest of the family had to tolerate. A lot of TV shows had the same themes.
This has been going on for a generation at least.
Most commercials feature all black actors, or feature mixed couples. TV shows are now about half-black actors and all of them have assured that there will be gay couples or lesbian couple.
Blacks are supposedly about 13-14% or the population, and gays and lesbians are an even lower percentage, but, you wouldn’t know it from watching TV or movies.
If one were to arrive from outer space and draw conclusions from what they see in TV and the movies, they’d be convinced that America is composed of at least half black, and that every other couple was of mixed races, and that at least a third of the population is gay or lesbian (or some other gender ID which people want to describe themselves as).
And, btw, I’ve noticed at restaurants and stores and other places, that at least 1/3 of the employees are black. So, those stores and restaurants have gotten the liberal memo about racial equality and equity.
I don’t mind blacks and other minorities getting their due, but, their due is not to have them represented in every facet of society as being the greater number of people.

Commercials is why auto mute was invented.
Watch PBS shows where they place books about Cuba or some racial thing around in the background that has nothing to do with what they are talking about. Or you are enjoying the show and they then tell you how bad you are when it is the complete opposite.

Advertisement has always been about social engineering. The only difference between today and those halcyon days when four out of five doctors were recommending Marlboros is that it’s gotten even cruder and more shameless. The worst and most obvious of these have to be the Gillette commercials that were openly insulting to their target audience and damn proud of it. Here a sizeable advertising budget was wasted on sermonizing rather than selling razor blades, the real sales job involved being suckering the marketeers into paying for decreased sales under the con that they were Making A Difference. That con has separated a whole lot of suckers from a whole lot of cash, so there must be something in it, but not what they’re thinking.
Have you ever seen an ad on any national network (NBC CBS ABC or even MSNBC - created by a major New York ad agency - - that feature unattractive women in cheap clothing who look like a stereotypes of everyone's 'mother-in-law'? Or of woman with uncombed hair?
Or ads that go on and on ;and on...
All giving the message that "FOXNews is second class"...
The message is: IF mainstream companies advertise on FOXNews they'll be identified with poor people.
Whoever is running the ad department for FOXNews is either in on the scam or they're too stupid to hold the job. And no, running ads where the network gets a percentage of sales rater than paying is NOT an excuse.
Try the TV commercial drinking game “FIND THE WHITE GUY!” If a commercial has no white men, or if it does but the white guy is a doofus or a dweeb, then you have to take a shot of your distilled liquor of choice. You’ll be hammered within twenty minutes.

Only if they can unmute the TV while the commercial is on. As soon as the commercial comes on...I hit the mute button...pickup my phone...and read an article at FR. Program comes back on...I reverse the process.
I turn the sound off and play with my iPad while the damn things run. 🤪
