I rarely watch Commercial TV, but watched some of the World Series.
I seriously don’t think I saw a single white guy in any of the commercials.
I would encourage folks to look at the ads on this video and any they may see on TV to spot the hypnosis technique.
Here is how it works.
Objects move from the left—then they move from the right.
This confuses the brain and makes it more susceptible to “believing” whatever message follows.
It is most obvious in auto ads—cars driving in one direction, then another.
But—it is also done with moving graphics of any type.
These folks do not play fair.
TV is designed to program _you_.
Not just TV. My bank’s website has a carousel of rotating images and most have a person in the image. 3 out of 4 will be black or hispanic. This area if 97% white.

It’s just more insidious creeping Diversity and Inclusion (must include both L-R and R-L).
I bought some Bausch & Lomb eye drops because I saw blue eyes and green eyes in their TV ad. I wrote and told them so ... and that that was the only reason I bought it. Expensive, but good.
And it seems that only black chicks but new expensive cars.
And only black chicks are linemen for cellular companies.
We hadn’t noticed. LOL! Of course we did. And, more and more in some foreign language too.
I call it the “Unicorn technique”.
The local bank uses a picture of a light-skinned black man holding a baby.
Our area is totally segregated—the suburbs are virtually all white—cannot remember when I saw any black person in a suburban bank.
In the big city there are a lot of blacks in the bank, but they are dark-skinned, almost no light-skinned blacks to be found.
As for babies, their black mothers in the city are almost all single moms—the fathers disappeared long ago.
The light skinned black father with a baby is a Unicorn—never been seen anywhere in the area!
Can't speak to the "single" part, but lots of White gay guys with each other.
Just saw a black Santa Claus in an Oreo cookie commercial last night...

Yep, they are always the thieves in the Home Security Commercials.
I forgot to mention that this bank has maybe half a dozen locations. They’re not in suburbs or cities. All in 97% white rural towns.
My friends and I noticed this and commented on it in the late 90s. White Men were either absent or portrayed as idiots or uncoool or weak soy boys in commercials. If there was an interracial couple it was Black Guy-White Girl 95% of the time at least if not more. Fathers were also universally portrayed as fools the rest of the family had to tolerate. A lot of TV shows had the same themes.
This has been going on for a generation at least.
Yes! That’s hilarious. I always laugh at the fact that every burglar in a home or car security commercial is White.
Gee, what do the statistics tell us?
