Also, in the USA, the CDC has completely stopped random sampling of the population for COVID infections.
They only require testing for people admitted to a hospital or for deceased persons who presented signs of COVID infection.
The CDC, the Cleveland Clinic, and a third mathematical model created by one of the major Boston hospitals, all agree that the USA has had at least 120 million COVID infections.
That number indicates that the COVID fatality rate - at worst - is 0.63% in the USA.
Same way the stock market can go up to more than 100%. It’s a relative measure. When something doubles it’s up 200%. It can also go down 200%.

No. If a stock is valued at $100, and goes up to $300, that’s a 200% increase. If it is valued at $100 and goes down to $1, that’s a 99% decrease.
Well that’s right. I was thinking of the equation 4x200%=8.
But I stated it badly. And you are correct for the way I stated it.
And stock values don’t go negative either, unlike temperatures, so bad choice of an example too boot.

The science indicates that the vaccines don’t work. Th Left has hung their hat on vaccines and science. Something is amiss here, can’t they read?
“Politics” has become more important than “science”. The “political calculation” has replaced the “scientific method.”
Sad, but true. It really began with climate change when the elite realized they could strong-arm the masses into agreement by claiming a scientific authority that was beyond dispute.
They have done the same thing with Covid.
They are not following the data now any more than they did with “climate change”.
