Yes, our coal, gas, oil and electrical industries are our core energy infrastructure and along with transportation are absolutely vital to our economy and our national security. Yet we have an entire political party of corrupt Marxist globalists who are actively and openly planning the deliberate sabotage, destruction and ultimate bankruptcy of the entire sector. Hell, they brag about it.
The out of control lawless federal government has no business trying to deliberately sabotage and deprive the operators and investors in these long established and critically necessary industries of their constitutional rights to operate in a free market economy. And it doesn't matter how much the arrogant democrats believe their new all powerful government will be building a better world. What they are doing is unconstitutional and illegal.
The entire world turns on coal, gas, oil and electricity.
Deliberately crashing these sectors and our economy - so they can 'build it back better' along their preferred globalist Marxist lines - will plunge the nation and the entire world into a severe depression. And will obviously put our national security at risk while simultaneously stirring up global unrest and emboldening our enemies.
None dare call it high crimes and treason, but that's exactly what it is.
And these high crimes and treason are coming directly from the highest levels of our government with the full support of the current majority of corrupt democrats in congress.
The 2022 elections can't get here soon enough.

These “environmentalist” zip wads never consider unintended consequences. When efficient energy gets rare or too expensive people will resort to other forms like burning wood. If you want to see some real air pollution just look at large cities where many are burning wood. The “environmentalists” are bad for the environment. And when the economy gets pushed to the edge or falls off a cliff, nobody will have time to worry about clean ups, getting plastic out of the ocean, or preserving woodpeckers.

Getty— as in Getty Oil. The original energy producer- whom the dems don’t mind hanging around that money, since they make special arrangements for their “infrastructure” re-alignment. Eliminating pipelines, shale oil reserve exploration, all drilling in lottery leased federal lands, and most especially rewarding the “genius” from Omaha, Warren Buffett who gets the railroad tank car business for his Burlington Northern rail, hauling the oil that could much more cheaply and efficiently have been pumped to the refineries for distribution (again, by pipelines).
Like it is somehow “safer” to have tank car trains (which derail catastrophically See the Quebec rail explosion that destroyed an entire town) haul millions of barrels of crude oil at a very high transport charge. So much more “environmental-sound” and it rewards JoeBama’s amtrak (Buffett’s Burlington owns the western Amtrak rails- who pay him rent... rent mind you for his subsidized rail) This is how the corruption spreads and costs our nation its economic lifeblood. Corporate Marxists/globalists who think they can control the USA.
