So...it's 2:30 Pacific Time. I woke up after a bad dream and my mind started spinning. Like an epiphany, but in the very worst way. I am normally not one to give up on things I care about, as was the case after the 2020 election*. Demoralized yes, but determined to make my voice heard more than ever. Became very active on social media etc. It's just been blow after blow since this administration was installed and I was starting to think that a majority of people support it all. Then Virginia happened. I was elated! I felt like there was hope. Lots of it actually. The main source of my hope was that the Dems might slow down, and that Republicans would feel empowered to get tougher...and we could buy some time to save this Country.
Instead, "THEY" passed the monstosity of a bill.
In 2020 I was asking, what's the point if we can't win* elections. Now I am asking myself, what's the point even if we can.
Between the vax mandates, the FBI/DOJ coming after citizens, the January 6th political prisoners, open borders, ignoring the courts etc. I just feel like we are being occupied my something foreign and evil and are powerless against. Now add to that the soon to be weaponized super-army of IRS agents and I am legitimately becoming fearful. Not something easy for me to admit.
I feel like the country I love doesn't exist, and possibly hasn't ever in my lifetime. I feel like politics is showbiz and that the Uniparty is totally real, and they all answer to globalists which means our (the citizens) will is totally irrelevant. All we are (both sides) are a nuisance to them.
I want so badly to be wrong. Is there anything I am missing? Is there cause for hope that I just can't see? This is new feeling for me. It's almost complete dread and I suspect I'm not alone.
Even if true, and it’s not, what good is any of that without freedom?
Prior to this event, in October 1988 I died of meningitis, crossed over to Heaven, and then returned to my physical body. There has not been one day since that I have not desired to die again to fully return to Heaven again.
We truly are in the times Jesus spoke of.
So we have freepers that are ok with the Chinese model of state sanctioned economic freedom in exchange for single party top down autocratic rule “As long as I got mine” types. They give me the willys...

There is more too, as far as federal government collapse. Elected officials are not in charge. We could have all Congress 100% Trump, Jordan, Gohmert, Paul, Nunes, etc., and the institutions would just thumb their noses after getting reamed in public hearings. Knock down one miscreant (I’ll pick fauci) and a worse one pops up to take the place.
Amazing times, and with the communication tools we have, never before in history did people have the ability to hear so many conflicting facts and theories and be faced with the joy of sorting it out!
I expect that will change. The truth will be better hidden in days to come - seeds are there with widespread private censorship and prevalence of fake news.

God is in control, we know the end of the story.
I’m not looking to die, but I don’t fear it.
God’s will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. I pray that my role in that be made clear enough to me, and that my shortcomings and failures be forgivien. I believe my prayers are heard, I have faith that Jesus died for my sins, and I marvel at the incredible riches (LIFE!) that have been bestowed.
Whether or not these are end times (like 2nd coming in the next 50 years), I don’t claim to know. But the times sure feel intense, and the events are worldwide spread.
Revelation prophesises some terrible happenings, and STILL, people do not turn to God.
I have always resisted health related mandates, especially Obamacare mandates for health insurance.
There is YET no federal mandate for covid jabs.
But why should outfits be deprived of freedom to make their own rules?
Freedom is a 2-way street
I have said for a long time...
They know exactly what they are doing. It is ‘we’ who never grasped their plans.

That is the big thing, it is worldwide. It isn't just happening here in America, but all around us too. Some places even worse like Australia and Lithuania.
It is not just us in this impending tribulation. I do think many here are not seeing the forest for the trees.
People that immigrate to the USA, no matter how well they do, never ever really quite get it. They never get that you are born free and govt doesn’t give you freedom. That concept does not exit in the third world. This is why I think all immigration should stop now.
The West, including our nation, has gone far away from God. And He gave us 30 years of constant warning through every product labeled “Made in China.” The CCP violate about every principle God gave this country.
This is new feeling for me.

Focus on local things and community. We’re going to need strong communities to get through the insanity that this leftist admin is trying to push on us.
Well...The nation won’t survive without the church, if one believes in the believers leaving when He comes for them....and Israel will loose it’s greatest alley and be replaced by the leader out of Europe eager to draw along side Israel for a time.
We ARE headed to being weakened....but the things in Europe and abroad cannot line up as intended unless we do loose our position as the world power we have been. Europe will take our lead one day. China and Asia are certainly now looking to Europe for trade far more than the US.

Those are important and accurate words. The Holy Spirit is here now, stronger than ever, preparing the way. This is why the weeds are acting up. Global warming is due to the increased “Fire” and the weeds fear it.

I have two adult kids, but I didn’t fail in that regard....I did my best to inculcate them with patriotism, strong individuality and the value of limited government. What they do with that knowledge is beyond my reach. I agree the baby-boom generation failed this country as a whole. The WWII generation left us the greatest country the world has ever seen and we didn’t hold up our end of it.

.C. the money for a few things...almost all departments have to be defunded and gotten rid of....they control are lives we are not a free country..congress gave the bureaucrats the right to regulate everything
Lots of great comments here. The one thing we must remember is that no matter what it looks like, God is still in control. Of course that means trusting in him & less in ourselves. I’m too old to run for office to try to change things through that avenue, so I really have little choice but to trust in God for the hope that things will get better. How all this will be accomplished, I don’t know. You can be sure that if you DON’T trust God, that things won’t get better for you at least, but ultimately, God does win. Keep the faith.
