Someone suspected something.
It was investigated and she was quickly on her way.
You don’t know what a situation is until you actually investigate it.
That’s why we aren’t allowed to investigate the 2020 election, because the truth must not be discovered.
“If you see something, say something.”
That bit of advice is never popular in hindsight every time the “something” turns out to be “nothing”. What’s the solution?
I guess no one’s heard of “better safe than sorry”
Flying while White
The media and the government keep pushing “human trafficking,” but are perfectly fine with it in practice. It is called “illegal immigration.”
One quick glance at the pair, by any casual observer, would rule out any suspicion of human trafficking. Racial profiling did not occur, but predatory harassment did.
Not one word from SW about WHY their employees reported such a thing to begin with. A lot of mumbo jumbo from everyone else which didn’t amount to a WHY.
If I’d been the mother, I would have shouted RACIST!!!!!
Flying while white.
“I’m a single mother,” MacCarthy said.
So.....predictable.
Actually the report (not reported on) that I can partially read from the video contains some interesting info as to why the flight attendant was concerned.
They were last on the plane (which is understandable if it was a last minute flight). The mother was adamant that they had to sit together. Neither one of them talked during the flight and the mother wouldn’t let the attendant speak to the daughter.
That and the mother promptly goes to the press with cries of racisss!? Instead of understanding that they were trying to defend her daughter?
Hmmmm...
White people must be guilty of abuse if they’re with a “black” (truthfully half-black) person.
Our Employees undergo robust training
This story has been floating around for days. It’s not an unusual story. Many parents with kids of “another race” (whatever other people might think they see) are stopped and questioned.
But, in another article, she said something I can’t agree with. I can’t find that quote now, but I’ll keep looking.
Any investigative process will produce false positives and false negatives. If false positives create a lot of issues, then that will result in lots of real situations being passed up.
Yes my red haired white grandson gets “looks” all the the time when he is with his half black son and daughter, if his wife isn’t with them. They are used to it.
Wait a minute, why would you talk to the police? I think the TSA may be able to ask where I am going but no other officer may really ask that.
God love them but their job is to detect crime. Why would you help them in that if YOU are the suspect?
I saw an attorney years ago speaking to a large group of officers and criminal defense attorneys. He asked all the attorneys, by a show of hands, has anyone ever said, “I only my client had said more to the officer?” They all laughed. He then asked the officers, has any one ever thought, “If only this suspect would just shut up?” And they all laughed.
There is absolutely nothing you can say to an officer that will get you out of trouble. Anything you say can and WILL be used against you. What they do not tell you is anything you say that exonerates you MAY NOT be used in court. For some odd reason the here say rule prevents statements that exonerate you but allows those that convict you.
People who think this is OK need to stop and think. It won’t be long until police meet you at the gate because woke Southwest kids think they found an extremist because they saw you reading Trumps book or a Bible.
How about MYOFB.
