Pause for a minute to recall the recent past: Did the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff unlawfully intervene in the chain of command to reroute decisions of nuclear weapon readiness through himself? Did he really contact his Chinese Communist counterpart to promise him that China would be warned of possible U.S. aggression?
Did the lead medical authority on America’s COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Anthony Fauci, deny under oath the fact that he routed U.S. aid money, through a third party, to the ground-zero Wuhan virology lab to enhance gain-of-function viral research?
Did Attorney General Merrick Garland sic the FBI on parents complaining about critical race theory—on the concocted accusation from a school board group, in part cooked up with White House staffer help, that the parents were likely “domestic terrorists”?
Did we really spend 22 months and $40 million chasing the “Russian collusion” hoax, a myth ginned up by the left-wing media and its enablers in the FBI and CIA?
Does the public really believe our current ministry of information that the “border is closed”? Or that high gas prices are good? Or that empty shelves reflect strong demand and will result in a more mature public no longer needing to buy superfluous goods?
Or that spiraling inflation is proof of a strong economy? Or that the road to the Kabul airport was open to anyone with a U.S. passport who wished to leave? Or that the accidental U.S. drone killing of a family in Kabul was a “righteous strike”?
Or that Russians and Trump operatives created a fake lost Hunter Biden laptop, as our former intelligence officials implied on the eve of...

Everything our modern day Democrats (communists) are doing stems from seeds planted by the KGB decades ago.
We won the war between the USSR & the US. However, we are losing the peace between the Marxist Enemy Within and American Patriots.

The arts are closed because the no-talent artists want them closed so they don’t have to compete against quality, not because they all want socialism.
Humans are bags of emotions walking around.
Some people, some really awful people, know that and take advantage of others.

Stalin’s NKVD co-opted a number of professors at key universities in the US and the UK in the 1920s and ‘30s, they taught the generation that taught the ‘60s radicals, and many of those ‘60s radicals have risen to power, to positions of prominence in the media (or, more importantly, in the board rooms of media companies) and/or had a great influence on both our youth and upon policy.
So we defeated the USSR in the open competition that all could see, but have lost (so far, at least) the war in the shadows to the ancient bacillus of Collectivism. We had better get our act together on the domestic front before it is too late.
The only thing I think VDH gets wrong, is that I don’t think Putin was happy about it. I think he understands the terror that what is happening in America, combined with our nuclear arsenal makes the world a frightening place again.
And as an aside, Biden is a mirror image of a 1980s soviet leader. A geriatric, party hack of several decades, with no skill beyond the political realm. He is an American version of Yuri Andropov, Brezhnev or the one who croaked after a year.
We have passed that point when we swore in the marxist muslim usurper Kenyan from Indonesia in direct violation of the Constitution.

You’re probably right. The only question that really remains is whether or not what is left of the traditional American public is going to do anything about it. Since there are less and less traditional people every single year, I am not an optimist on this issue.
Nearly 100 years ago, my grandfather ran from Soviet Communism to the most free nation on Earth. Most of his family couldn’t get out; his father had all of his property except the house that he lived in stolen, and was ultimately murdered by the NKVD because he tried to rent out part of it to keep food on the table (it was 1930s Ukraine, with its engineered famine, and he was in his mid-’70s and suffering from cancer - he had no other options, not that Stalin’s thugs gave a damn). Tragically, Communism followed him, and we and our progeny are going to pay a fearful price.
The KGB did, so I’d say Russia and China won.
