...At a retail business based in New York, managers were distressed to encounter young employees who wanted paid time off when coping with anxiety or period cramps. At a supplement company, a Gen Z worker questioned why she would be expected to clock in for a standard eight-hour day when she might get through her to-do list by the afternoon. At a biotech venture, entry-level staff members delegated tasks to the founder....
...
Gabe Kennedy, 30, founder of the herbal supplement brand Plant People, noticed as he recruited Gen Z employees that some had no interest in the rigid work habits that felt natural to his mostly millennial 10-person team. He and his co-founder were accustomed to spending late nights in the office obsessing over customer feedback and sharing Chinese takeout. His youngest employees preferred to set their own hours.
Mr. Kennedy interviewed a Gen Z candidate for a full-time position who asked if she could stop working for the day once she’d accomplished the tasks she’d set out to do. He responded that her role was expected to be a nine-to-five.
...To many corporate leaders, this (GenZ workplace political advocacy) invites a welcome correction after decades when businesses were largely silent on racial inequities both within and outside their offices. But some managers are also struggling to balance the demands of their employees for political engagement with their own sense of what’s appropriate for their brands.
“You talk to older people and they’re like, ‘Dude we sell tomato sauce, we don’t sell politics,’” said Mr. Kennedy, co-founder of Plant People, a certified B corporation. “Then you have younger people being like, ‘These are political tomatoes. This is political tomato sauce.’”

The GenZs I know aren't this obnoxious, and I don't know ANYONE in the workforce who's afraid of them.
That said, I've heard of newly-minted graduates who expect to be treated like a seasoned businessperson. To these cretins, let me quote my friend Christopher Walken...

Fire them.
Works for me. 👍
Birth years mid nineties to 2010
I have two genZ kids. Hard working long hours. both of them.
Respectful intelligent, kind and good with teams, usually leads the team.
Homeschooled. Makes a difference.
I think the powers that be want us at each others throats.
Fight amongst ourselves while globalist trash rob & destroy.
I would not make their politics an issue in the firing.
The jerks may end up picketing or firebombing you. These kids play well with Antifa.
Cutbacks, covid, lack of parts, etc...
I work with mostly guys down to Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, South Dakota, Wyoming and these guys are - nowadays -between 25 and 35 out in the pipelines - I find them very respectful and fun to work with - and hard core right wingers without exception
Lay them off, instead.
Might as well have a reduction in force if you have employees who aren’t putting 100 percent.
The joy of a right ti work state is we can part ways without a reason.
Bingo. We homeschooled for 13 years. Both our kids are very successful. Both still in their 30s. Very very hard working and both millionaires. And nice people too.
It’s good parenting that makes the difference..
Hat’s off to you FRiend!
actually with the terminally lazy they will disappear if you press them too hard.
You know eight hour days, showing up every day, that stuff.
That said, to your point...
Been the game plan most of my life it appears...
MORE COW BELL!
Except you do not have to shake that jar of ants. Ants will kill each other, even if they are the same type of ants. If they are from different nest they will fight
This is perhaps the LAST such function I could envision them ever mentioning, LET ALONE making it a point of absence.
I don't doubt some women take off time when it's really unbearable.
But is this really happening or is it a NY Times false flag reporting?
