A flight attendant for American Airlines suffered broken bones in her face and had to be hospitalized after a passenger allegedly attacked her Wednesday in an incident the company’s chief executive called “one of the worst displays of unruly behavior we’ve ever witnessed.”

Here’s how you stop this stuff. Throw the book at him, not this liberal non justice crap. Not allowed to fly for 5 years, fines and jail for assault.
“What is wrong with people, seriously?”
The usual, but in 2019 airlines flew 4.5 billion passengers on about 28500 flights per day. Statistically, I don’t see a significant problem with unruly passengers. There will always be some.
This is all moot until we determine the gender identity of the passenger.
LOL—I scrolled through the comments to see if anyone else thought of Baldwin. This sounds exactly like something he would do.
Sounds like a case of Flying on a Trust Fund, with some drugs mixed in.
Most people just don’t know how to handle easy money that is given to them, rather than having to make their own way in the world.
Much harder but one doesn’t usually understand wealth without earning it.
This is just another in a lengthening history of brutish behavior brought on by nearly two years of forced, useless, de-humanizing masking and "distancing" and by mandated needles at the threat of social exile by egomaniacal politicians, power-obsessed unelected bureaucrats and celebrity-enthralled medical "experts" playing off the irrational fears and heightening anger and distrust throughout our society that government/media itself has brought about and sustained!
Just what the hell did anyone expect would happen?! This sh*t must stop! Not just the behavior, but the tyranny that is causing people to act this way toward one another!
Decent, liberty-loving Americans must put an end to this government tyranny now .... or this response to the loss of freedom and interaction will continue to grow into even greater society-killing, soul-crushing behavior.
Don't be obtuse. I'm not inclined to believe that is the entire story. Still not an excuse to go around hitting people.
Re: 10 - Hey, Fury you lazy idiot, do some research!
49 U.S.C. § 46504
So, yes under Federal jurisdiction.
He’s going to Federal PMITA prison.
What happened to air marshals?
Really? Wow.
Broken bones in your skull? That's quite a hit.
Toss the book at him, and the forever ban sounds about right.
>>I’m not inclined to believe that is the entire story.
I don’t care what the rest of the story is - there is no story that excuses a passenger - especially a male passenger - from punching a flight attendant in the face and breaking bones.
I’m looking forward the article, but I thought I read that more and more carriers are sharing ban lists, so that people like this guy will find it more difficult to fly on a common carrier.
They are all taking pregnancy leave.
Hmmm...moslem?
To be clear, it's not just the tyranny, but the results of the tyranny. When people are forced -- forced! -- to hide their identity behind a face covering that serves no practical purpose and are compelled to disassociate themselves from others for an extended time their perception of how to behave toward strangers -- in a frightened, angry, distrustful society -- does not bode well. That is, being subjected to this type of abject tyranny -- being told constantly what they can do and what they are no longer allowed to do -- people begin to think that societal norms no longer apply.
Think about it. Think about some of the truly horrible, inhumane treatment people have received over the past 20 months from people and professionals you would never expect to act this way.
I think they’re on somewhere around 5% of flights.
This has nothing to do with mask mandates and everything to do with a passenger being a drunk/high asshole. Trying to equate this to masking issues is lazy thinking. Mask mandates do have genuine issues. This incident ain’t one of ‘em.

HE SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO FLY AGAIN!!
If this was an isolated incident I might agree with you.
It's not ... and I don't. Cheers!
