I find all this just a little hard to believe. I have always been wary of pussy in a box…
Don’t let the cat breeder known as Schrodinger sell you a cat enclosed in a box.
I had always thought that Schrödinger’s cat was the Cheshire Cat. Then again, I consider at my cat. Sometimes, we actually poke him in the ribs to make sure he’s not dead. Sleeps about 18-20 hours a day. Cats make pretty awful metaphors for anything other than indolence. Schrödinger was obviously a goofball.
The Cheshire Cat probably just laid there sleeping for so long that people got tired of looking and chose to imagine that he disappeared. Lewis Carroll was a weirdo.
“Not all who wander are lost.”

A lot of this quantum science is so far over my head I would have to do a quantum leap to understand it.
Think of how many votes they could flip.
But I don't understand what they mean by spin, momentum, axis, etc. That is, how do you measure for such? What do these qualities "look like" in an experiment?
What do quarks look like? What does a charm quark look like as opposed to other quarks? What does a muon or boson or whatnot look like? How do you tell them apart?
I've not yet found a sufficiently dummied down book to take me by the nose and explain it step-by-step.
I read Alice in Quantumland, and it wasn't an easy read.
We live in an energy field where the physical world we cling to is only part of the equation. And a secondary part at that.
