I had always thought that Schrödinger’s cat was the Cheshire Cat. Then again, I consider at my cat. Sometimes, we actually poke him in the ribs to make sure he’s not dead. Sleeps about 18-20 hours a day. Cats make pretty awful metaphors for anything other than indolence. Schrödinger was obviously a goofball.

The Cheshire Cat probably just laid there sleeping for so long that people got tired of looking and chose to imagine that he disappeared. Lewis Carroll was a weirdo.

Socialism. Feral cats are active. House cats live in a welfare state, with everything handed to them. Why would they exert themselves?
