At the height of the outbreaks in the spring of 2020, U.S. meatpacking production fell to about 60% of normal as several major plants were forced to temporarily close for deep cleaning and safety upgrades or operated at slower speeds because of worker shortages. The report said companies were slow to take protective steps such as distributing protective equipment and installing barriers between work stations.
The report is based on documents from JBS, Tyson Foods, Smithfield Foods, Cargill and National Beef. Together they control over 80% of the beef market and over 60% of the pork market nationwide.

That’s what happens when you have 30 Mexicans living in one house. Maybe 5-10 are legal. I moved into a rental in FL that was like that before us and got a month free for doing the cleanup. Nasty. I could tell by the stains on the walls and matted down carpet in one closet that someone had been sleeping there. I'm guessing your math is fine. The problem is the PCR test is 'fake' and can't diagnose Covid.

I recall interviews of workers who admitted they’d go to work sick because they needed the wages more than they cared about others, so it can’t all be blamed on the companies that were pushed to increase (or at least maintain) production so there would be no grocery shortages.

I think some of these were made sure to be infected as they were visited by the chinese owners in early spring. Just spreading the love.

I’d like to know what test they relied on, to determine that these people did in fact, have Covid.
My wife’s sister lives near a Tyson plant in Mo.
First the Mexicans displaced all the hilljacks.
Then Somalis displaced all the Mexicans.
Boondocks town, all the signs are in Spanish and Arabic.
