The unidentified object dropped down from above and matched their altitude before flying alongside the airplane for around 30 minutes.
While the pilots have not been named, one was understood to be a career pilot with 19 years' experience while the second was a veteran fighter pilot who had previously flown F-15's.
They have been described as "competent airmen, highly experienced with observing and identifying aircraft, and are capable of determining normal observations and incidents from unusual ones."
According to the report by the National Aviation Reporting Center on Anomalous Phenomena (NARCAP), the plane had departed Queretaro International Airport and was on its way to Memphis, Tennessee when the sighting occurred.
The First Officer had initially believed the object to be a meteor until it matched the plane's speed and altitude, indicating that it was under some sort of intelligent control.

FedEx should be proud of their pilots. Hope I never fly commercial with the “Dude” commentating on the video.
My Dad was a USAF Navigator on B-52’s. On one flight at night over the Pacific, the pilot kept adjusting course in order to evade an oncoming plane, but it seemed to keep approaching their B-52. Finally, Dad climbed up into the cockpit and looked out the window at the “aircraft” the pilot had been evading. It was the planet Venus.
Not saying that these guys didn’t say something. But even highly trained pilots with a lot of hours can get this wrong.
*SEE something
Plastic bag/weather balloon deliberately brought in and out of focus. Fake as hell commentary.
It was obviously the second “Death Star” trying to get by with passing off the liquor license from the 1st one that Luke destroyed as theirs.
He's sure not in the "Houston, we have a problem" class, is he?
“It would not be the first time.”
True dat. You humans are funny!
The pulsating orb known as Venus.
So, you didn’t read the story?
You have the benefit of my analysis free of charge. Doesn't cost you anything to accept it. Doesn't cost you anything to ignore it.
I read the story and saw the video and the so-called ‘pulsation’ is clearly an effect of the focal point of the video camera shifting in and out.
And the dropping into view and tracking their aircraft at pace is.....?

A probable illusion of perspective.
Understand that I am not a UFO skeptic, I’m convinced that they’re real but am not proposing any notions about the source of them.
My Dad wasn’t a skeptic. He saw something on the ground while in Thailand during the war that he could not explain. And the base he was at sent a helicopter to investigate the bright light he saw, and the helo pilot got within 2 miles and said “Screw this, I have a wife and kids,” and turned the helicopter back. The Wing Commander came in to talk to them about that light at Mission Briefing the next morning. But sometimes, Venus is just Venus.
Probably a DHL drone. The Delivery Wars are real ;)
We have no clue what secret high tech is out there these days, including antigravity tech, holograph tech and mind control.
While I take the UFO issue very seriously, I tend to give a lot more weight to pre-1970 sightings—less noise in the signal.
