The writing has been on the wall for Democrats for some time now, with President Joe Biden’s approval ratings dropping close to basement levels (freefalling after the Afghanistan debacle) and Congress’ approval among a majority of voters being even worse.
But new numbers out from Gallup Polls show a rather startling statistic that is going to keep Joe Biden or, rather, his handlers up late at night trying to figure out ways to overcome. One key bit of data from the poll shows that support among Democrats for the Democrat-controlled Congress has dropped from 55% last month to 33% just one month later:(snip)
A 22 percent drop. Among Democrats. Wowsers. No doubt the sirens are blaring big time at Biden HQ today.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that the big issue here for Democrat voters is their party’s failure to get the reconciliation and infrastructure bills passed after months of frantic back and forth negotiations, even though they control the House and have a razor-thin edge in the Senate.
It could be that if and when these bills get passed, support for the Democrat Congress among Democrats will rebound, but even so, the die has been cast as even Democrats are now seeing that Joe Biden for all his promises of unity and bipartisanship and getting things done or whatever has proven to be an ineffective “leader” in bringing the warring factions even in his own party together.

I was impressed how quickly Mr. Trump built this nation up. And even more appalled how quickly "President" Biden destroyed it.
Screw the statistic! Stop this evil charade. The man is a senile, demented piece of evil crap. That is the real issue and he is unfit to lead this country—something everyone is avoiding, especially the rabid leftist press, which supports anyone and anything with a “D” next to it. Oh they are that dumb but they’re twice as focused disciplined and determined as they are dumb. GOP’ERS have smarts the right policies but lack the focus & self-discipline. So guess who’s better at the political game ? Rat World is ! The Rats want power and are focused to get it. GOP’ERS are often off chasing squirrels.
Or is it maybe that Democrats have woken up to the fact that their party's bogus "infrastructure" bill will send inflation to the stratosphere, bankrupt the country, build NO infrastructure and all the while making the crooked Dem pols and unions filthy rich?

So was I. But unfortunately the GOP wasn’t. They undermined him for four straight years.
Actually, I think that there are three kinds of Dem voters: 1) stupid; 2) smart but ignorant; and 3) downright evil.
I haven't yet figured out the percentages of each though. But I think the evil segment is growing.
They accumulate power.

I think the opposite. They had two great opportunities in recent decades to send this country into a death spiral, and BLEW IT. The 1992 election and the 2008 election. In both cases, they spent their time on small-time crap and still let the Republicans hamstring them with the filibuster (in fact, nuking it was so off the table back then it wasn’t even brought up). And by the time they realized that the country would survive their first two years of each new administration, it was too late, they had BLOWN THEIR CHANCE at destroying it.
This time they DO NOT intend to blow it. Even with their really thin margins, they are doing fine at the White House, and there’s still a good chance that they’ll lock-in the demise of this country before the 2022 election...where they still will have a tough time rigging the House seats (i.e., most of the House districts where they count the votes are already blue).
This is their chance for their ‘Final Solution’ to America, and they are going to give it all they can.
I don’t really pay attention to polls, but this poll seems very feasible of being correct.
Yes. The RATs have made it very clear what they intend to do. and have done for years. Only morons would be surprised at what the RATs have done.
Unfortunately the dip in the polls regarding support for the Democrat controlled Congress is NOT all due to people moving to GOP positions. I imagine some high degree of that dip is Left-Liberals upset that Pelosi and Schumer can’t get Biden’s Left-Liberal multi-trillion dollar plans passed in legislation. Don’t expect those disenchanted Left-Liberal voters to register their feelings about Congress by voting for GOP representatives.

If Dementia Joe‘a handlers didn’t plan to make his numbers crumble, they surely expect his numbers to crumble. “Every crisis is an opportunity” is their axiom.
The real number is the price of gas
Just because Democrats are unhappy with Biden over not advancing socialism, does not mean they would ever vote Republican.
If he was president his poll numbers would be a worry. He isn’t. He is a cardboard cutout place holder. He is as irrelevant to his handlers as he is to the rest of us.
No one seeks his opinion about anything, no one is worrying what his position will be on this or that issue. They don’t ask him.
Poll numbers only matter if you have to face the voters. Since 2020 they no longer have to worry about that.
