A 29-year-old man accused of trying to strangle an 11-year-old girl in a Manhattan park was arraigned and released on $7,500 bail on Saturday night.
Nathaniel Direnzo, of Saint Marks Place, was arrested on Saturday morning for a bizarre, broad-daylight attack on the young girl and another minor on Wednesday afternoon.

Now, now. We all want to strangle 11yo girls. But we all know it’s wrong, too.
It is this kind of behavior on the part of blacks that makes segregation understandable.
If the blacks are not willing to abide by the rules of civilized behavior, then maybe we need to rethink segregation.

$7,500 bail? And if the perp was working with a bail bondsman, he’d only have to come up with $700 or so

Surprised that N.Y. has bail bondsmen. We don’t have them in Illinois, $7,500 bail here means the defendant puts up $750 cash to the court and will go toward any fine levied. If found not guilty the money is returned to him. Cuts out the middle man and his fees.
