Gotcha. We DO get them, though we both hate them. Plus, Daisy does not roam around. We have a small yard in our apartment complex, and I go out with her every day, morning and evening. She can roam around in a limited way with me watching her. All cats in our hood have rabies bleeping shots, a requirement here.
Figures. There is really zero reason a product like that cannot be made in the USA. It is almost literally made of the ingredients I described. OK maybe a wee bit more complicated such as some emulsifier to blend water with oil but in practical terms they’d just use fragrance for the scent and a tiny drop of “oil extract” to make the label claims.
The bottle and label can be made in the USA. The ingredients are common and available from 100 different suppliers. Maybe the spray nozzle has to be imported but it’s cheaper to import spray nozzles than entire filled bottles - you’re just shipping bottles of 97% water. Makes no sense at all.
I love Kunzite.
Back around 9/11 al Qaeda terrorist cells were found to have discussed in their communications the use of bottles of perfume as a means of delivering bioweapons. If disruption and terrorism are your real goals, then making a profit is not an objective in delivering the product, it would be acceptable to lose money on shipping and on the product to insure success.
The bacteria comes from contaminated water. The spray was made in India.
Do the math.
I can almost smell the Ganges....
Even WORSE than I thought.
I just buy those little square fragrance candle squares you melt over a lamp enclosure. Works well for Holiday fragrance. Enough for me. Room sprays...never!
Very distinctive smell. Good stuff for cleaning rifle barrels. Very old school.
You win post of the day. Well said!
“My aromatherapy is Hoppes #9.”
