Do they just make this stuff up? Yeah--there is no possible way to re-create an entire animal based solely on a footprint.

Amazing how they can determine timidity from an upside-down plaster cast of a footprint.

No of course not, the use the c,image change computer software to reconstruct, bone for bone, scale for scale, tooth for tooth, everything g that lived In the past. Of course they might have to throw In a few hockey sticks to prove their points, or ‘recalculate measurements when new evidence doesn’t meet the agenda driven claims” but meh, thats science.

It is still a predator. Its prey may be vegetation though. Does anyone cry for the rhubarb when it is harvested?

Yup then some other "scientist" says you're wrong and then they can BOTH get Grant Money.
I'll say it again...."Grant Money is Forever".

Timid? There are plenty of aggressive herbavores.

Check the fossil teeth and the preferred diet will be quite apparent. Footprints alone tell too little of the story.

"Timid? There are plenty of aggressive herbavores." The hippo is one of the deadliest animals in Africa.

Do they just make this stuff up? The majority.
You can determine size (somewhat) from the footprint.
You can guess if they are plant eaters or carnivores.
You can not tell personality.
A Cape Buffalo is a plant eater.
It is neither friendly or timid and can not be tamed.
The cheetah is a meat eater.
It is easily tamed.

I used to have a tee-shirt with that on it.
