The U.S. has seen 257 confirmed COVID-19 illnesses in animals as of Monday, including 99 cats. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says there is no evidence showing animals are passing the illness to humans in significant numbers.

What are the implications? Apparently, while it's not significant pets can transmit covid.

So let's think about this. What do we do now? Do we have to vaccinate our pets and revaccinate them every 6 months? Is covid transmittable only via cats or are all mammals 'at risk'?

Are we going to have to vaccinate deer and the squirrels that eat at your bird feeder? What about that raccoon who goes through your trash at night and wakes you up?

This just highlights the absurdity of this "fully effective" vaccine. As long as animals can carry covid can we ever be safe from covid? Or are they going to tell us only cats can transmit covid so there's nothing to be concerned about?

Didn’t they try this early last year? State that it was possible to catch COVID-19 from your pet?

Can you hold a job if your pet is unvaccinated?

Not this **** again.

Cats get a different coronavirus, not the one that causes CoupFlu.

This article is propaganda generated to scare people into getting jabbed.

Should vaccinate every pet then.

Either that or all pet food will suddenly disappear.

Is the “first pet” what one calls the pet of the governor?

Cats and deer are confirmed to carry it, and I suppose bats as well, since the virus is a variant of a bat virus. So there are probably at least 3 animal reservoirs out there, 2 of them among wild animals, so vaccinating won’t do anything to help there. The virus is going to be endemic.

I thought First pet meant the Governor’s pet.

Can you imagine the lockdowns that would ensue if Gov Whitmire’s cat got sick?

I think it will be really hard to get the cat to keep a mask on.

Someone with covid coughed on the pet and they magnified that 500 quadrillion times in a PCR test and found Rover positive to initiate a whole new round of fear porn.

If your horses get it, you must NEVER, EVER administer Ivermectin. They could die from it.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says there is no evidence showing animals are passing the illness to humans in significant numbers.

Because they aren't looking for evidence, the fools!

And just what do they mean by "significant," anyway?
