The U.S. Navy is preparing to discharge every one of its sailors who refuse to be vaccinated against the China Virus. Apparently, it isn’t enough that the Biden administration’s policies have caused rampant inflation, unemployment, crime, and supply chain issues. Or that it is in the process of gutting the nation’s transportation, public safety and healthcare sectors. Now it will gravely harm national security by forcing out up to 25% of our Navy personnel. (This after top brass tried to purge the military of those it deemed overly patriotic or too openly Christian. No wonder suicides in the armed services rose by nearly 50% this year alone.)

Service members are only obligated to obey lawful orders. This order is a violation of the Nuremburg Code, to which the US is not only a signatory but also one of its authors.

Covid is not forever. If they hadn’t quarantined the entire country, we would have had herd...the death rate would be the same or less and people would have had a relatively normal life.
I don’t think Joe Biden ever served in our military, did he? I know at least one of his sons (Hunter of course) was thrown out for being a doper.

RummyChick, I don’t think Washington VAXXED his force against a disease that has a 99.96 recovery rate for healthy people. Only 2 active duty Marines have died WITH covid... but you probably don’t care about that. Given the times, Washington wouldn’t have even notice if 1 or 2 people got sick and died back then. Hell, women going into child birth new they might die every time they went into labor in 1775.
This disease is almost NO THREAT to our military formation... our infantile reaction to it might destroy the country.
Suicides have almost doubled in the Military since 2019 and yet...crickets...
If we allow Taiwan to fall, will we stand by Japan?

If China wants it, will we say no?

Small Pox vacinations stop small pox. Covid vaccinations do not stop covid.
Right or wrong..Commander in Chief has decisions to make. Washington decision was not popular and killed many people.

Either you allow miltary to enforce vaccinations or you dont. Washington first said no vax. Then he changed his mind and forced it. Risky decision either way

You equated smallpox, with a fatality rate of about 30%, to covid, with a fatality rate of about < 0.5%; where the fatality rate drops toward zero in those under 40 who are fit and not fat, which would be the majority of the U.S. military.
Any President making the decision to mandate vaccination in such a circumstance, *especially* without taking into account prior infection and natural immunity, and now knowing the lack of durability and lack of actual protection afforded by the vaccine, shows a rashness bordering on hysteria and irrationality.
So ..uh...who gets to make the decision?
Washingtons vax program killed many soldiers. So you either grant him the power or you dont.

The injection is still experimental. There is NO FDA approved vaccine in US. Shame on our military leaders for subjecting our military is to an experimental injection.

Yup, I was not aware of that till I watched the documentary on HistoryChannel. But, to the present; I guessing this will wind up in front of the Supreme Court. And,I believe the court will rule in favor of the military. The military has a long history of mandatory vaccination. I’m a Vietnam vet and when I went to boot camp in 1965 I along with everyone else was lined up and run through a shot line, no questions asked. I was run through the shot line again prior to deploying to Vietnam. Btw, wondering, do they still use those pneumatic guns? Just curious.
The disease doesnt matter in terms of the question of power. At the time washingtons decision was quite controversial.
He killed many soldiers with his decision.
In hindsight..he was right ..but note that he also mandated no vax as well before he reversed
