While continuing to assist homeowners that have turned into their parents, Dr. Rick heads to the airport with a group of his patients. Right from the beginning, things are not looking great when Rick finds out that every homeowner is using a paper ticket. The doctor assures that there is nothing him and his patients can't overcome, even this extremely challenging day at the airport. As snack bags are exposed and gate agents are bothered, it's obvious that these homeowners simply can't help who they've become. While Progressive might not be able to prevent customers from becoming their parents, the company says it can offer a variety of insurance policies.
I am ALWAYS thinking that we will have a flat tire on the way to the airport, so want to leave to possibly have time, even if that happens. LOL But also have waited in very long TSA lines a few times (and I don’t fly much), and that is just an unpredictable variable in the process, IMO.
You are a virtue signaler. So what if I have a paper boarding pass.
i’ve never flown commercially...
my father is the only pilot i trust...
Hardly virtue signaling on my part. Couldn’t GAF whether you have a paper boarding pass or not. I just think the phone is a lot more efficient, and for those concerned about connectivity or the airline app not working at a critical moment (which can and does happen), I have suggested taking a screenshot of the boarding pass on the phone prior to going to the airport. That is all.
My kids totally think I’m crazy because I get to the airport 2 hours before takeoff, so I can relate to the commercials lol.
And it cuts both ways. You can say, yes, your old parents can be silly, but you love them anyway, and yes, one way or another you can't help becoming them. There are worse ways to end up.
Then why does Progrssive Insurance make fun and ridicule of those who have paper boarding passes?
I have no idea what an Apple Wallet is.
the company name says it all..PROGRESSIVE.
I have avoided that company like the plague because of the stupid name. The CEO worships obama and donated to his election multiple times.
Most people have gone to having boarding passes on their phone. It’s easier and there’s less paper to keep track of. However, the answer to your question is nothing is wrong with paper tix.
These ads are hysterical!
It’s good to laugh at ourselves.
If anyone wants to watch more of them look for “Dr Rick” at Youtube.
Here’s one:

I recognize myself in all those commercials.
My favorite line is: “You woke up early. Nobody cares.”
Or, like my mom and my aunt when we used to take them on trips, they’d read, OUT LOUD, as many signs as possible. Street names. Store signs. Speed limit signs. Arrrrgh!
“Not wrong, you just don’t need them.”
I just flew and you need a boarding pass, they print out on PAPER.
Just say “No” to “Soros Insurance”.
These commercials are hilarious. And no they aren’t woke. And no they aren’t going after norms that made America great. Lighten up.
I reverted to printing my boarding passes when on a Southwest flight, it was delayed and the QR code for my A seating group disappeared. By the time they printed me a new on, I was in C.
Because they’re 30 somethings acting like 60 somethings. That’s the whole joke of all the commercials. Becoming artificially old and out of touch because now you’re a home owner.
I agree. I actually enjoy those commercials. And the older it get...
I never point out highways, but I do try to ID them.
