If only Dr. Daystrom had...
Oh, don’t even go there!
I was just explaining to my daughter what “Captain Dunsel” meant.

Just like an Estes rocket! lol Up and down in about 20 minutes.
Glad it went well. These things are still pretty stressful. Especially since I’m a big Shatner fan.

William Shatner and his fellow passengers land in West Texas after taking flight to space

Any shot into space is by definition a suicide mission, so many things can go wrong. Shatner is 90 and and is having the time of his life, I am sure he has taught out all the risks and decided to go in any event, anyone who goes up knows the risks. I would not belittle anyone who is doing this. We have been fortunate to have a long safety record like we have in this endeavor. God Speed Bill, wish I were with you.
Shatner hasn’t lost his ability to dramatically pontificate...LOL.
He’s in tears describing it. I hope this gets more common place and cheaper fairly quickly.
He’s got that hat on, wonder if the wig fell off lol
That’s one “funky” looking ship....
I think Shatner looked sick. Might be one used barfbag in the capsule.
I could not agree more. Manned spaceflight requires courage even in 2021.
Im happy for him, but I also feel a little for him. The others are celebrating with family or friends and Shatner stands alone. It seems like Bezos is there to make sure he isnt left out.
In any case, he has flown higher now than I got to.
Amazing technology. And happy for Shatner. But listening to that commentator and others (not Shatner), and having lived through Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Spacelab, Shuttle and the Space Station, I’m kind of chuckling to myself. I feel so fortunate to have lived through those experiences and, frankly, for the virtues it imbued in me.
Denny Crane.
Yes, though rather chunky, he’s in amazing shape for a 90 y/o.
one giant penis is all
they are passengers not crew just like being on one of the vomit comets.
