President Joe Biden has righted the ship with his job approval numbers — according to a new survey.
CBS and YouGov put out a poll, on Sunday, which reveals that Biden’s job approval stands at 50 percent. This stands in stark contrast with other prominent, recent data. A Sept. 22 Gallup poll put Biden at 43 percent approval, while a Quinnipiac survey from earlier this week found only 38 percent approve of the president’s job performance.
Crucially, the CBS poll finds that Biden is gaining traction with independents. Forty-five percent of independents approve of the president’s job performance, according to the new survey, while 55 percent disapprove. That number is still below water, but far better than what other recent polls have turned up for Biden.
The president is not yet on the plus side of the ledger. Fifty percent of respondents in the CBS poll also disapprove of Biden’s work. Not surprisingly, that sentiment is nearly unanimous among Republicans — with 89 percent giving the president a thumbs-down.
The news wasn’t all good for Biden, though. The survey polled respondents on six key issues; the economy, infrastructure, Afghanistan, immigration, climate change, and Covid vaccine distribution. Only on that last issue do a majority of Americans (57-43) favor the president’s work. In particular, Biden posted dreadful numbers on immigration (34-66) and Afghanistan (37-63).

So Biden jumped 11 points in the past 36 hours? What happened? Public approval of his speech on Indigenous Peoples Day? Calling himself President Pennsylvania? Public approval of Merrick Garland’s family corruption and decision to use the FBI to chase after parents who speak out at elective school board meetings? No, I think its CBS News trying to manufacture public approval for a declining, corrupt, senile old man who caves to Marxists in his Administration and needs two Senate votes, one from Manchin whose state polls at 19 percent Biden approval, 75 percent Biden disapproval.

Joe Biden took some heat over Afghanistan debacle. But that was one month? Now mainstream media and big tech have pivoted away from Afghanistan so as a result Joe Biden looks better.

Don’t you remember the Wisconsin “poll” which showed Biden beating Trump by 20 points the week before the election? The fraud ended up “winning” by only one half point and that was after thousands of mail-in votes were dumped after 3 am.
