A friend sent me this video. He also happens to be a medium sized employer and after watching this he said he would NEVER hire a Harvard MBA.
I was wondering if any Freepers would have the same attitude?
Take a Seat in the Harvard MBA Case Classroom
Seems like a hella good plan since it seems to be working so well.
So what's your opinion on somebody claiming credit for material they didn't produce?
You like that? In favor of it, are you? Great idea, is it?
Got any thoughts on that, Nancy?
Look, you drunken asshole, it was a posting mistake. Nobody with a brain thought he was taking credit for producing that video. Sometime you should try posting something informative or interesting, though I do recognize that’s well beyond your meager capabilities.
This instructor demands instant commitment to extreme actions while denying critical information on which to to base those executive actions.
Additionally, she specifies that the decision maker agrees to not have any factual information and and yet make an immediate yes or no decision to shut down the ENTIRE company based on feelings.
I find it interesting that no one stood up to her by stating that they would not accept the CEO position of a company they had not thoroughly researched because they had a college education that taught them to find and follow facts.
I wouldn’t hire a Master of BS Artistry from any school. I have never seen one do anything productive.
In this issue the CEO assigns someone at a lower level to look into what caused the death. He would assign someone with vast experience of working in the same or similar mimes. If it's something that can reasonably be prevented in the future it's time to take action and solve the problem.,p> Thinking that the mine should be closed is stupid. It does not happen.
This however does not merit time from a CEO.
And I disagree. So I’d probably fail.
The fan-boy PUT his name in the author space.
That doesn't happen by itself.
You seem angry. Have you been drinking? Smoking a little crack, maybe?
If I had made the same "mistake", what would you say then?
Hmm? Would you be defending me?
Dang hypocrite.
As I am in the twilight of my career, everything you said rings true. Mediocrity is rewarded then promoted. Peter principle still exists. I’ve worked with Ivy grads; I never saw any special talent - ham and eggers w/ “street experience” were the people one could always depend.
Wish we could flush these Ivy people from our judiciary. Their intellectual inbreeding has done great harm to this nation. We need real diversity.
Get off it. You’re a prick to people, you’ve always been a prick to people, I’ve NEVER seen you say anything constructive, you’ve never contributed to any discussion in any real way except with negativity.
And before you itemize the things we say and respond to each point one by one, like you always do, just remember you’re a disgusting, pathetic excuse of a freeper and you should be dragged from your shack made of trash and beaten for the way you’ve always spoken to people.
Pig.
“2. It’s like college kids that get jobs with the big consulting firms. What exactly will they be able to consult on? They just got out of college and don’t know sh*t.”
They don’t. They are the overpaid, pampered gophers to collect data and enter it into the computer for the consultant.
The guy was new, and was going to the various departments educating himself about the way the company operated. He came to my department, which was electronics and electronic design. Just walked in without warning, and introduced himself. Wanted to know what sort of things I was working on.
I showed him a circuit board I was working on right that minute. I showed him the problem, which had to do with the way the vendor had made the plated-through vias. When I flexed the board a little (it was long and skinny), the circuitry went nuts. Before I could explain to him about the plated-through hole thing, he immediately said "oh, so you need a thicker circuit board."
Not as awful as your story, but still kind of funny and makes me smile even today, 35 years later.
Do you actually post articles, or do you just slam people who do?
I’ll second that actually you beat me to it,he is an assholllll. He never has anything to contribute to a thread just create chaos, just like the libs.
That’s asswhole
Someone who is entirely an ass.
Compare to sarchasm - the gap between sarcasm and the intended recipient...
We never would have had steam engine, railroads, airplanes, ships or cars, electricity, ... no computers or cell phones either etc etc - but on the bright side is we wouldn’t have all these Harvard MBAs and for the left, there would be no global warming.
It’s not trash, his shack is made from 100% post-consumer recycled material.
Agree, In the 15 years I had a consulting company, and recruited hundreds, any resume’s with Ivy league hit the round file, followed by any Lawyers.
ping
Well done!
You made me smile, carry on.
